Nobody knows that right now. This is all that is currently known:

1. ...Or Die Trying

When Granddad and the kids get into the car, and after Huey trips the alarm, the instrumental (which seems like it was made just for the series) sounds like it uses an edited sample from Millie Jackson's version of "If Loving You is Wrong, I don't Wanna be Right" (Not 100% sure on this)

When Huey is sneaking past the guards, the beat uses contains a sample of Theme from Enter the Dragon

The beat that plays when Ruckus and Huey fight (also made just for the series) uses a sample from the Phyllis Hyman song "Loving You, Losing You" I had punished long to find this.... This 9th Wonder beat was made just for the show and isn't featured on any song! However, the beat off 'Superstar' from Hong Kong rap group 24 Herbs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJHZiECvfhE uses the same sample.

The Jabba The Hut theme plays whenever Ruckus appears.

2. Tom, Sarah, and Usher

Instrumental to Hollywood Divorce by Outkast plays when Huey reminds Tom that things could have been worse if it was Omarion

"Blue Eyes" by Elton John plays when Tom is reminiscing about Sarah in a Pimp Named Slickback's car.

Instrumental to "I Got Love by Nate Dogg plays when Tom confronts Usher and Sarah at the end of the episode.

3. Thank You For Not Snitching

Jabba The Hut theme again whenever Ruckus appears.

Instrumental to "Da God" by Sean Price when Granddad drives away from Ruckus and Ms Vanhousen

Instrumental to "I Got Love by Nate Dogg plays again when the police arrive to investigate who stole Dorothy.

When Gangstalicous appears on TRL the beat used contains a sample from Space Oddity the David Matthews version flipped in a way similar to "Rapp Snitch Knishes" by MF Doom & Mr. Fantastik which also sampled that record.

4. Stinkmeaner Strikes Back

Opening Theme when Stinkmeaner is in hell is inspired by the Shaw Brothers Intro music from old-school Kung Fu films.

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield plays when Stinkmeaner as Tom confronts Sarah, and again when Ruckus hops out of the cab and during the exorcism.

Jabba The Hut theme for Ruckus again.

"Under Your Closed Eyelids" by Isabelle Antena plays when Granddad is preparing for his date.

Track that plays during the Stinkmeaner fight scene is by artist Metaphor The Great and is listed as "Boondocks rmx" on his MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/metaphorthegreat

5. The Story of Thugnificent

A version of the instrumental to "Bring Em Out by T.I. plays when Thugnificent arrives in Woodcrest.

6. Attack of the Killer Kung-Fu Wolf *****

The dancehall "Applause riddim" perhaps best known from Sean Paul's song Temperature with unknown 'singer' (Gary Anthony Williams perhaps?) plays when Granddad is dancing during when Riley is looking up Myspace profiles.

Jabba The Hut theme once again when Ruckus shows up.

Instrumental that samples Theme from Enter the Dragon plays again during flashback of Luna on the island at the Kumite and other times during the episode.

A parody of "Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley is played during the Lionel Richie Segment.

7. Shinin

A version of the instrumental to "Bring Em Out by T.I. plays again when Riley and Thugnificent are in the studio, and at the pool with the Myspace girls.

When Riley attempts to 'ghostride' the whip and crashes it, the instrumental played is from the song Blow the Whistle by Too Short

Metaphor The Great does the song when Riley has his change which is titled as "BOONDOCKS RILEY", and the song where Riley fights the bully which is titled "BOONDOCKS FIGHT SCENE", both found on his myspace page http://www.myspace.com/metaphorthegreat

8. Ballin

Jabba The Hut theme again for Ruckus

NBA on NBC theme music used when Riley is at the second basketball practice session.

9. Invasion of the Katrinians

Jabba The Hut theme for Ruckus once again.

10. Home Alone.

The Orchestral music played when Riley is imprisoned by Huey is "Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber.

Instrumental to "BOONDOCKS RILEY" by Metaphor The Great plays when Riley appears in the fresh gear he copped with the food money.

Instrumental that plays when Huey notices Riley has escaped from the closet uses an edited sample from Millie Jackson's version of "If Loving You is Wrong, I don't Wanna be Right" (Not 100% sure on this)

Instrumental to "I Got Love by Nate Dogg plays again when Huey and Riley are loading their guns as they prepare to drive Uncle Ruckus out of the house.

Ruckus gets the Jabba the Hut theme again.

11. The S-Word

12. The Story of Catcher Freeman

Orchestral music played during the Catcher Freeman intro is "Charging Fort Wagner" from the "Glory" soundtrack as composed by James Horner.

Song played during the ending credits is "Our Black @sses" by Phonte of Little Brother. You can listen to or download it at his MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/phontigallo

13. The Story of Gangstalicious Part 2

"Rock and Roll Gangster" by Aalon is the song that plays at the end when Riley confronts Gangstalicious.

14. The Hunger Strike

The instrumental that plays immediately after the opening credits is from "Sweet Lord Intro" by Murs & 9th Wonder off of the upcoming free album "Sweet Lord"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiVTXpJGsgw

"Go-Go Gadget Gospel" by Gnarls Barkley is the song that plays when Rollo Goodlove is at the protest against B.E.T

Dr. Evil's Lair theme music from Austin Powers International Man of Mystery plays when introducing B.E.T

15. The Uncle Ruckus Reality Show

"Is it Because I'm Black?" by Syl Johnson. plays when Ruckus is frusrated with the reality of being black [just before his attempted suicide]

Dr. Evil's Lair theme music from Austin Powers International Man of Mystery plays when introducing B.E.T

The beat that plays when Ruckus is explaining his day to day routine contains a sample from A Divine Image by David Axelrod. It's a record that's been sampled on many tracks like Kool G Rap - Take 'Em to War (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GB8gDi408Dc) and Black Moon - "One-Two" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fclWmtDVXdg)

Will edit and update as new information comes in. If it's not on the list.....then most likely no one knows it at the moment!

Kinda "found" the ghostface/huey/tree scene music. It won't be a satisfying answer to some people. (will edit with details later)

EDIT

Ok, to attempt to bring some closure to this:

1. The music that plays was made by hiphop producer 9th Wonder, according to Boondocks producer Carl Jones via Myspace.

2. The beat is not featured on any song (I'm extremely sure about this) and was made/used just for that scene of the show.

3. The beat contains a sample from Freda Payne's "Suddenly Its Yesterday" from her 1971 Album 'Contact' that was chopped up pretty well [credits to soulbro72 from the-breaks for the find]. Sample:

Quote:
"macaroni and cheese, straight outta the oven, made with nothing but lovin', collard greens, cornbread n' potato salad and if it ain't home-made that **** ain't valid, my uncle came throught with a meal with a truckload of trout-fish fried on wheels, love chicken love drinks love food, and now we got the kid's stuffed too, turn the music up, pass the hot-sauce, [inaudibe] ace of spades, yo you got the cards? that's what i'm talkin 'bout, now we can get it crackin'..."

And the second song, the chorus is something like "I know she no good but she good to me" and it repeats a couple of times.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.
Both songs are done by Asheru & Blue Black of the Unspoken Heard. (Asheru is the guy who does The Boondocks theme song)

In regards to the song played in Guess Hoe's Coming to Dinner:

It was apparently exclusively recorded for that segment of the show, and does not appear elsewhere on any album or mixtape of his to my knowledge.

So unfortunately there's your answer
I'm pretty sure the song played in the Itis was similarly also recorded just for that episode. I'm not an Asheru fan and I don't have his albums so you could try and locate his albums and check for yourself if you want.

I read earlier on that the song in the itis was called Good Times, and it was posted on Asheru's myspace, but that was a while ago and he took it down. Does anyone have it? I googled it and got no results.

anyway, I'm so glad that this show still exists. bring on Ceasar!
Much of the incidental music was done by members of the horn section "The Regiment," Kevin Williams and Sean Erick. Sean plays trumpet and flugelhorn, his solos are featured on "Invasion of the Katrinians," and Kevin plays trombone and flute. I believe he plays the tail end flute riffs. They played on most of the second season.

Episode 201

I had a look through the thread to see if it's been resolved yet, but I didn't see it. Five minutes into Ep 201, Or Die Trying, when they pull out of the driveway to head to the theater, theres a trumpet/guitar piece with a bongo beat, anyone know if thats sampled from something? I remember hearing it in a few other instances as well, which makes me think it was made for the show.

This song (which others tell me is Marvin Gaye "all I Need") is what I believe was sampled for Method Man feat Mary "All I Need". NOt the popular remix/video...the album joint.

It was background during the Roscoe Patterson scene in "Get Rich or Die", the opening scene of "home Alone" when the boys were fighting and at least two other scens which I cannot cite right now. Can you help?

THANKS

For Killer Kung-Fu Wolf *****:
Beat played when Luna first shows up to the Freeman's house, samples Ain't Got The Love (Of One Girl On My Mind) by Ambassadors.
