My show re-airs this Thursday (8/3)!

Hello all!
I just confirmed with Staci- my show will re-air this Thursday, August 3rd! I'm excited! It's just so funny how fast it all went by.... I auditioned at the Wheelmobile, got invited and attended a second audition, got the call, taped, aired, got my check, and was a re-run all in 10 months! I'm not sure which is better: having to wait a long time for each process and having the Wheel journey last a long time, or having it all blur by. Either way, It'll be fun to see my show on tv again. Tune in if you'd like to see my final, final part of my Wheel journey!

I will be watching Thursday too! I was bummed that my show (Tiki Time) was not a repeat because I have lost 40 pounds and wanted people to see the "old" me.....

I still have the "Big Hair" that did not change.

Have fun Thursday!
Shawn

Wow!

That all happened within 10 months? Too cool.

Linda - waitinginoz - 16 months and waiting and waiting and waiting.

The Scarecrow got his brain, the Tin Man got his heart, Toto got a good tasting bone, and Dorothy is looking forward to being on the Wheel!

Yeah, 40 pounds so far. 10 more to go. I wanted to lose it for my trip to Cancun, that I won on Wheel, which I finally got booked for this September.

I won that trip on this puzzle: PLACE

Topeka Tornadoes Home to Toto and Dorothy!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Kind of OZ like!

I'll be watching

Shelley,

I too will be watching tonight!! I tape the show everyday even if its reruns....I'm still waiting for my call and don't think the practicing can hurt anyone!! My fear is I will totally blank out!!

Good job to Shawn I think it was for the 40 pound weight loss!! I think I've gained that!! I had a baby in December and can't get the weight off....if WOF calls now I'm gonna be horrified to see what I look like on camera....I'm almost 43 and the weight isn't coming off at all.....

Anyone out there got any suggestions on how to safely but rapidly get the weight off???? Would love to hear from you....

Superfreak63

aka Risa

If it weren't for this "Monsoon 2006" pre-empt that we got (my hometown, El Paso, got a severe amount of rain on Tuesday for anyplace let alone a desert) I would have been able to watch Round 4. I did manage to watch the third toss-up in full and everything before that, but unfortunately will have to miss the fourth and bonus rounds.

Since it's a re-run and there's little risk of spoilers, I think a play-by-play for Round 4 will work.

Here's a mock-up of what I'm looking for. It's not a quote at all, but I'm putting it that way to separate it from the rest of the post. Also, I've used three semi-random names as examples. A slash indicates a word reak, a double slash indicates a line break. I did happen to catch Pat saying that the category was LANDMARK so I've used that as the category.
Quote:
LANDMARK _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ // _ _ _ _ _ // _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*(Ding ding! Ding ding! Time is running short)
*Pat spins $5,000+$1,000=$6,000

*Joe, with $0, calls an R (1 R for $6,000)
*LANDMARK _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ R _ // _ _ _ _ _ // _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*Joe times out

*Patty, with $0, calls an S (1 S for $6,000)
*LANDMARK _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ R _ // S _ _ _ _ // _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*Patty times out

*Jacob, with $0, calls a T (3 T's for $18,000)
*LANDMARK T _ _ / _ _ _ _ R _ // S T _ T _ // _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*Jacob times out

*Joe, with $6,000, calls a C (No C)

*Patty, with $6,000, calls an N (1 N for $6,000)
*LANDMARK T _ _ / _ _ _ _ R _ // S T _ T _ // _ _ _ _ _ _ N _
*Patty times out

*Jacob, with $18,000, calls an E (4 E's for $0)
*LANDMARK T _ E / E _ _ _ R E // S T _ T E // _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*Jacob tries to solve with "The Empire State Building" (correct)
You understand the format that I'm trying to aim for, but I'm not imposing a strict requirement as to how exactly to put it.

P.S. Don't forget that I missed the bonus round too, so I'll need that as well.

Hi Jeffrey! I'm hoping Andy will be able to do a recap of the whole show, but in case he can't I'll see what I can do for recaping it, since I was there and all!
Sorry if I'm not very good at specifics!
Right after the third toss up, the bell rang and Pat made the final spin. He spun $5000, making each letter be for $6000!
The three of us took turns calling letters, then we were all stuck for a bit. I had $24,000, Kathy had the same, and I think Shane had $12,000 or so. Here's what the puzzle looked like :
THE BRE_ _ ER_
_N PALM BE_CH
It was my turn. I obviously knew it was Palm Beach, but I didn't know what that second word was. I picked a Y, in hopes that it ended with ERY. The crowd moaned; they clearly knew the answer.
Then it was Kathy's turn- she knew it. She picked an S and solved THE BREAKERS IN PALM BEACH.
Apparantly it's a hotel in Florida, but I wasn't from there so I had never heard of it. Kathy and Shane were both from Florida and both knew it well, which I don't really think was fair, but oh well.
I ended up with the consolation prize of $1000. Shane had about $22,000 or so including two trips. Kathy had the most and went on to the bonus round. She solved MIAMI VICE and walked away with a grand total of about $67,000. I wasn't the big winner, but I had a blast nonetheless!
I hope that helps Jeffrey- if you need a more detailed recap I can watch my tape and see what I can do.
