Ghostbusters 3 is this the last movie with the cast from the first two movies?
If it is I hope they have some great acters to take there place witch won't be easy.

Odds are that after this (if in fact it does actually go into production), there probably won't be anymore GB movies. But if there is? I don't think that any of the original actors (Dan, Harold, Bill, Ernie, etc) will be in them.

Dan Aykroyd has joked around about the possibility of making more GB movies, but has stated many times that "some of us have hip replacements, or can't drive anymore", which is why he/they chose to go the "passing the tourch" route as the premis of a 3rd movie.

It would be cool if they could continue the franchise with different actors, but it would NEVER in a million years, have the same appeal as the original(s).

Kind of like the 'The Real Ghostbusters' vs. 'Extreme Ghostbusters'.

oh trust me, sony wouldnt go through all the trouble in creating a new ghostbusters site if they wernt allowing to have a third movie. Sure the game has helped with showing the interest people still have with ghostbusters, but they put all the time and money into redoing the site because they have plans.

EDIT(oh and im sure that with the help from the guys of The Office, this movie will work out great. I personally would LOVE to see Steve Carrell in this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guys will be in the movie but more of a guide for the new stars of it. Sort of like what they did in movies like "The Longest Yard" and "Charlies Angels" where they have the originals in it as guests. Thats how I see this going. Don't take my word for it though.
