Nowadays, direct-to-video releases based on existing properties are quite popular, including in animation (for example, the recent Futurama films, Disney's sequels to it's animation properties, several Marvel/DC films, new full length Scooby-Doo animated features with the surviving members of the original voice cast, ...).
Wouldn't it be great if Sony decided to give us Ghostbusters fans a few full-length direct to DVD/Blu-ray animated adventures, with the original voice actors? Hopefully the recent "revival" of interest in the Ghostbusters franchise due to the videogame will inspire someone at Sony to follow this idea. ![]() |
