Everyone is mad at Gloria because she "married" John with all her baggage, even though John is a grown man and made his own decisions, and did not marry Gloria because there was a gun to his head. Everyone is mad at Michael because he and Ashley planted drugs on Tom, plus Michael is Gloria's son, and Michael didn't get John off scott-free, even though John CONFESSED to shooting and killing Tom, then pleaded voluntary manslaughter to get Ashley off the hook. Michael was supposed to have gotten John off the hook, too. An Abbott should never pay the price for having done something wrong! :rolleyes:
