What does that mean? has anyone other than me noticed that everyone has "ally" under their name?

I think that the ally under the name might mean a friend, or ally of Spider-Man. Since you signed up at the Spider-Man site they probably expect that you are for Spider-Man and not against it, or an enemy to it. This is just my idea though, i don't know for sure.....

Generally how these boards work is you're given a ranking depending on how many posts you make. I'm not sure if they've totally implemented here but here's an example: When you first register you're given the rank of Ally, after 100 posts you earn Hero, say after 500 you're given the title Wallcrawler. Or something like that. It's just sorta a way for other folks to tell how active you are in the forums.

you are indeed right upon the ranking idea...though they should have allowed you to choose between whether you were for Spidey or against....i know its only ranking systems but **** why not

good= ally bad= enemy
good= hero bad= villain
good= wallcrawler bad=super villan

etc

p.s.
Catch you all on the web (sorry for the pun)
