What does this have to do with a human being able to produce silk from his wrists?
The webbing on the goat is coming from a logical place. Transform that onto a human and where is the webbing coming out? The nipples. You want Spider-Man to shoot webbing from out of his nipples? You're disgusting. :)
Besides, the webbing on the goat does not "shoot out". It needs to be pulled out just like a normal spider's silk. You don't really think spiders "shoot out" their silk, do you?

If you bother to read that article and read the research project that spawned the article. All
the those scientists did was tweak the goats so they produced a "milk" like material that could be refined into a spider silk like substance. In essence the scientist made some indigestable goat milk.

I have read James Cameron's rough draft script from several years back and he uses organic webbing in that. Basically he uses Peter's transformation into Spider-man as an analogy for adolescence. Peter wakes up one morning to find his sheets stuck to him, covered in a translucent goop substance that he can't control...(sound familiar, boys?) ...It is done really well in that, with just a little teat poking through the skin, so Spidey still needs his wristlets. All those wanting to check out the draft go see

thanks geckoboy.. i didnt know james typed that up... anywho, spidermanhype.com says spider-man the movie is based on ultimate spider-man which you can read at
http://www.marvel.com/dotcomics/menu_flash.html
there it says peter's father started making the webbing but never finished. peter finished it.

I knew that EvilEdwrd.
The thing of it is, is that I heard that in the latest draft, it still "shoots out" uncontrollably. And he needs the shooters to control it. But it still "shoots out".
Whether or not that's true, well, we have to wait and see don't we?

curious in the comic book he could walk around with out the wrist things, I think the wrist things are what milks the webbing out of his wrists, just a thought, I know he also had those cartridge things too. so who know null
