Hi,

We understand people are excited about Venom and the footage seen at Comic-Con but please do not post it or post links to it on our boards. The footage is pirated, which means it was stolen and is not official.

Anyone who posts it runs the risk of being banned and since we like you all very much, we don't want to see that happen. If you see any posts directing people where to view the footage or even actual posts of the footage, please use the report post button so we can remove it.

Thank you!

We'd like to take this opportunity to remind people of the posting guidelines and Terms of Service (http://www.sonypictures.com/corp/tos.html).

The following covers only the basics. Please review our Terms of Service (http://www.sonypictures.com/corp/tos.html) (TOS) for a more detailed explanation. Failure to abide by the posting guidelines can result in the removal of posting privileges. If you're in doubt on whether something should be posted or not, play it smart and don't post. That inner voice is usually right.

Don't attack or be abusive towards others when their views are different from your own. Don't ridicule someone for the way they spell, punctuate, or phrase things. Debate and discuss the topic, but if it gets personal it gets deleted. If certain people stand out as habitually abusing others, they will be banned. Also, disliking characters is different from bashing the actual actors. Bashing the actors is not allowed.

Don't start off topic threads or take threads off topic with nonsense posts or "chatting." We provide the use of Private Messages, please use them. Hijacking of threads and turning them into chat threads is not only rude, it's disruptive and can result in a ban.

Don't use sexually explicit language or obscenities. Be respectful of those around you.

If someone does post obscenities, or attacks someone, don't respond. Use Report This Post located on the upper right-hand corner of every post. The boards are checked often during the day, and offensive posts won't be up long. If you respond in kind, then you are also in violation of the Community Guidelines.

Hope this helps clarify things for everyone! Happy posting :)

The following image is an example of how large (roughly) an image can be. It's around 8 text lines tall, you can kind of eyeball that for yourself with the example "lines" below.

If you also want to have text as well as an image, make sure your image is a little smaller, so you can add text and still have the whole thing taking up about 8 lines. We don't want the total signature to be MORE than 8 lines tall/big.

We appreciate your cooperation in this. If we find signatures that are too big, we'll delete them. If we are continually deleting the same people's signatures, they will earn a 72 hour ban.

If you're not sure how to make a signature, need help to resize one, or just have general questions about them you can post your questions HERE (http://boards.sonypictures.com/spiderman/showthread.php?t=7211&page=1&pp=20). We have a number of members who are usually willing to help.

one line
two lines
three lines
four lines
five lines

A number of people have earned themselves 72 hour bans. You can tell if you have a 72 hour ban by looking under your user name to the right of your avatar. It will say "72 hour ban"

If people who have 72 hour bans create new names to post before their time is up, they will be banned permanently

Thanks
