Hi all, just wouldering if it be possible for the next movie be Maximum Carnage based of the comics? it would be so cool! Venom and Carnage, and of course the hero Spider-Man all together in a real life Film, that would blow X-men and the other comic related movies out of the water. Think of the rating! man it would so rule! but the computer graphics for the Symbiots would be a back breaking job to do, or not who know. anyway let me know what you think.
Thanks, Spider-Man Fanatic,
Scott Craig

it would be very hard to get the rights to all those char's i mean just look they are having a hard enough time just trying to get the rights to venom for his own movie but still kewl idea none the less.

yes it would be awesome but no maximum carnage would not be the sequel cos a we need to establish venom/eddie brock as a char before we can even begin to introduce Carnage Kletus Kassady.
Not only that but they will have to somehow wangle into the script a very different origin of the alien costume that spiderman going to space to fight in the secret wars and obtaining the costume that later bonds with brock and becomes Venom.
So Venom would be feesable as a sequel baddie, but it would be stupid STUPID to introduce Venom and Carnage together, maybe in a third or fourth film perhaps, although venom and carnage are awesome baddies lets not forget the huge array of other super villains that spidey has faced. So long as they stay away from that ****ing pathetic cloning storyline everything should be fine, the no 1 ****up in comic **** stories was that aweful cloning scripts that the *******s at marvel brought up. Sigh! no wonder the best guys left Image and DC and set up Image!

Sorry but the clone saga was magnificent and when you've been reading Spidey since 1969 you'll realise why!!

To many similar characters ,(venom, carnage, spidey) powers are all the same.Stick with the old go with Doc Ock or the Vulture. But most likely Hobgoblin.

I agree with lufcgrant, I have the comics where the clone was originaly introduced at home in my collection. I remember the questions that were left hanging when Peter Parker and the clone went thier seperate ways. It was really cool to see that storyline come back so many years later. Thats part of what makes comics great. It had the same feel as Wrath of Kahn had for me when I saw it in the theatre.

Wow, it's nice to hear other people with a positive opinion about the whole clone saga. Iv'e also been a reader of Spidey for multiple decades. I guess us "old timers" have a different appreciation.

just figured i'd reply to this, it's interesting to see that almost nothing changes from before the first movie came out and now, plus that there have been followers of maximum carnage since before the symbiote release

Maximum Carnage in two parts, (Like Kill Bill... Split the movie at the scene where Kasady is near defeated, then rises again, screaming 'Carnage never dies!') would be pretty cool as a movie, but its very implausable.
First, it would do away with the character development and go straight into it, and then it would also cause major copyright issues.
Yes, it was be interesting to see... But the odds of it happening are zilch to none.

I think it would be a disaster.
