DONT CHANGE A THING ABOUT SPIDERMAN.,
LEAVE THE WEB SHOOTERS.
I can handle some changes in the characters but don't take away something that we all grew up knowing about Peter Parker.
I don't care who's making this movie, or who's funding it. Spiderman isn't theirs, it's the fans.
Why does the director feel a need to change something to make it their own? It was never Raimi's in the beginning and it's not now. I read the script by Cameron and I almost threw up. He twisted the whole story around. I wasn't sure if I was reading about Spiderman or Mary FRIGGIN Poppins.
When this film is released it's the fans who will be paying for the movie. Stay true to the story, the original story. Not some weird idea someone dream up in while on the toilet.
I want to see the development of web shooters. If it means adding an extra 20 minutes to the film then do it. If it's not cost productive, then the studio should have never taken on the project. I've waited for this film for a long time. Don't mess it up. Please don't mess it up.

GET OFF IT ALREADY... give them credit for trying to bring Spiderman along with the times, making Peter feel more alienated from his peers by having his body radically alter its composition... LEAVE THE FRIGGIN' WEB SHOOTING THING ALONE... GET THE **** OVER IT ALREADY... shut up and enjoy it for what it is : FINALLY a Spiderman movie made by people who clearly enjoy what they are doing AND REALIZE that they have a lot of expectations riding on this thing... Get the **** over it already. I wonder if you feel the same way about the different artist's that have drawn and redrawn spidey.Just be grateful our hero is finally gonna hit the big screen.After all the **** that has been going on over the past seven years with rights to ownership.Read some of the filming reports in hype,maybe you will feel better about sam.

I agree with both sides of the table on this. However if they made the webshooters part of his body that mutates him from being human and then he is pretty much a mutant. So he might as well strap on a black costume and join X-men. :)
I dont really care though. This movie looks like it's going to be really really good. It's about time we have the Spider-man movie out after all the years it's sat on dusty shelves and in courts. We should all just be happy I suppose and rejoice. ^_^
