LOS ANGELES--May 9, 2001-- Santa Monica-based Media Revolution (www.mediarevolution.com), a full-service integrated marketing agency, developing evocative, experiential Web sites and multimedia products, has been selected by Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment (SPDE) and Columbia Pictures to develop the official ``Spider-Man'' motion picture Web site (www.sony.com/spider-man) scheduled to launch in July 2001.

No...it is still the same site. This release is just highlighting the company that built it for the studio. But I did hear that a revised site is planned for later this year...
I hope the latter site offers more than the current one. I need more...

Now I hear the new site will be online in september.The delays in this film are everlasting, ever since litigation over the rights years ago it's been one thing after another.The best news was that the product is in CG stage and in the hands of ILM.
