I didn't put Carnage on my list either. I don't even LIKE Carnage. I don't like Toxin either. The reason I don't like Carnage is that he is just a copy of Venom. The writer probably couldn't come up with anything that was actually new so he just changed his color, made him stronger, and made him crazy. And almost everybody (notice I said almost, there are still some of us) fell for it. I'm not saying you shouldn't like Carnage, cause there are some villains I like that others don't so much, but I just never really liked how he was an "unknown offspring" until the writer couldn't come up with anything else to put on the page.

Just so you know Carnage is not a copy of Venom because of "writers not being able to come up with anything". Character "copies" are usually made a lot of the time to keep an interesting story-line fresh. Example: A lot of people love the green goblin but may be tired of seeing him, enter Hobgoblin! Its not a copy, its just a way of continuing a really interesting storyline so that it stays different and not dull.

I don't really like him as a character. some of his appearances were well written and good, like the 4 part Venom/Carnage series, but a lot of his other appearances i thought were quite dull and a bit dire
