Sam Raimi calls for MORE ACTION

Just read that James Franco is returning for more filming for Spider-Man 3. Says theres going to be lots of action, this movie is going to be so AMAZING!!! I'm so excited to see it.

I think that Spidermans plotlines speak for themselves. I know all the plotlines, so I don't care if the actual movie plot sucks, I get to see these charcters fight! But I see what you mean. It won't happen though.

And I think xXx (ehm, the one with Vin Diesel) is a good example of how screwing it up.
The movie was loaded with action, and there was a "plot" in it, but it was dead-boring and unbalanced.

With Spider-Man 3, I'm starting to get this feeling that it wont be that much based on Peter himself (as much as in Spider-Man 2 for example) but alot of characters.
And like we know now, the movie will be about defeating our inner demons.
They've said that the reason for many characters is that they've not being forced to be there (OK, don't count Venom here) and they fit the story well.
So I suggest, that pretty much everyone in this movie will be fighting their inner demons on the background, with Peter on the spotlight (read: the Symbiote).
And it'd be a bit boring to just watch these characters just looking at themselves from the mirror, thinking something's wrong, so I quess there's gonna be alot of *** kicking, blaming, guilt ect.
So now we have a reason for the huge amount of action (among with others). Some stories will be closed, some left open, alot of *** will be whooped.

I like that. Although, Sam Raimi admits that what Alvin Sergeant did with Brock's character is great. I think he'll work out fine, even if the fans forced him in the movie.
