Do you people always post everything that comes from SuperHeroHype!? Sony boards are always second to the Hype Boards in everything. They even have news/pics before Sony officially release them. And the writer of the Spider-Man 3 novel, actually thinks that we don't know everything about the film before the NOVEL is released. It's no wonder the person who posted details about the entire film (The Famous Q & A) first posted it on the Hype!
Maybe Sony should call SuperHeroHype the official Spider-Man Movie site.:shake:

im not a fan outta that venom for a coupel reasons...jaw too big...teeth to weird(looks like he tried to chew bricks) and tongue messed up

I'm with you on the jaw, but the teeth and tongue are a favorite for me.
Also he did a good job making the drool not look ridiculous.

the body is less than perfectly shaped, and I don't like the tongue or the teeth. especially the top teeth. they need to be longer, and more like Bagley's Venom. the tongue is too small.
everybody knows that Bagley's Venom was the most well received by fans out of any Venom. I think common sense dictates that for the movie they should go with Bagley's Venom.

Bagley's Venom isn't the most popular. Its the most recognised.
McFarlane's Venom is the one the majority like because that was what Venom was. Not a slobbering brute, just a bad Spider-Man.
Personally I do prefer the Bagley Venom, and I have to see these pics blend the two real well. I especially like the way the eyes are sort of compounded like the eyes of Spidey's suit.

Go look at SHH picture/stills from second trailer topic.There are some Venom pictures there from the movie and it looks similar to this Venom.

i really like that look of Venom, the spider on his chest is too small, and i still don't believe that's the actual movie Venom, i'll have to see him in some actual movie footage first

Bagley's Venom became the most recognized because the issues where he was drawn like that were more popular than the ones where he wasn't. Venom became huge after Bagley re-invented him.

Go to Marvelcomics.com and go to the civil war section. Save the civil war abnner into your pictures and doctor it in photoshop/Paint/GIMP.

I mean real as in real looking. I didn't want people to think they were just a couple of comic book pics and not look at them, and I didn't want to put a misleading title either so I said not from movie.

i am blown away by those images. well, it's just one image. but that venom looks incredible! wow! if some graphic artist can do such a good job, just imagine what the film version will look like!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!/

Remember though...the symbiote goes over the Spidey suit so maybe when it goes onto Ed it keeps the same sort of design.
If you look at the eyes of the Closeup, it has the small octagons like on Peter's suit. The Spider is also about the same size of Peter's.
Plus the jaw looks great! That's what Venom should be like. The only thing I don't like is his colour...he's a lil pale for me.
