yeah, okay... but what about symbiote spiderman? He is vicious. And in this movie, we don't know how far sam rami will go in making him vicious. OR...IT COULD BE THAT HE THINKS ABOUT DOING THAT AND THAT'S WHEN HE REALIZES THAT THE SYMBIOTE IS EVIL.

But I think from what we've seen, that it's the fact that the only reason Harry survived the pumpkin bomb was he had either already taken the serum or just got extremely lucky. And Peter didn't care!! This was his best friend! He probably thought about it afterwards and it made him sick to his stomach and he realized that he had to get rid of the symbiote because if it can make him want to kill his best friend then nobody was safe.

Like K-K, Spidey won't go on a killing spree. What some of you don't seem to understand, in those trailers, Sony is not revealing anything, and they won't give you any glimpse at anything that reveal the general direction of the film. Now they are showing so scenes that are pertent to the film, but they are showing it in a while that cause for confusion and lead one to think the film is following a certain direction. With that said, they are not going to show you anhthing concerning his family... that's a story in itself. They are going to continue showing some action scenes to get you pumped and as a diversion from the actual direction of the story. In otherwords, save the shock, suspense, mystery, and surprise for the actual release.

Again, some of you taking the bait. The Symbiote does not make him evil and he won't be evil. The symbiote in the comics or cartoon never made him evil. Come on guys. Like Tobey said in the promotion on Thanksgiving, it enhances those qualities it deems necessary in taking over it's host. Which is Peter's arrogance, which is at total odds with his sense of responsibility. Peter has always had this sense of arrogance about himself although half the time he was able to keep it in check, because of his morals with those close to him; but let it flow against villains, JJJ, and others he dislike. That's all that happen here... the symbiote challenge his sense of morals and responsibility, by tapping his arrogance in its attempt to take him over, as well as his other more spidery abilities, making him feel on top of the world obviously. So no, he won't become evil, just more arrogant and cynical. Something obviously Eddie won't be able to handle.
