I don't know if there's been a thread like this, but there's a lot to go through.

I have grown up bullied in school like Peter Parker was, that's why he eventually became my hero over the years. He also inspired my sarcastic humor from his many hilarious insults he threw at his enemies during a battle. However, in the previous Spiderman movies, I can't recall any such humorous (or any for that matter) insults while he battled a villian. I love the movies, but it doesn't seem quite the same without the sudden burst of laughter after Spiderman cracks up another one of his jokes. It feels as though the movies are almost focusing too much on Peter's personal struggles and not how he uses humor to try and brighten things up. The actions and fights are exciting to see, but Spiderman 3 would make a greater impact in my books if he gave his two-bit jokes once in a while. How are your opinions on this?

Well, in the first one he sais to Bone Saw: ,,That's a cute outfit. Did your husband give it to you?" and ,,It's you who's out Gobby... Out of your mind." And when uncle Ben tells him this: ,,I know. I have gone through the exact same thing at your age" and Peter says: ,,No. Not exactly. And in Spider-Man 2 when Doc Ock throws the money bags at Spidey he webs one up, throws it back and he says: ,,Here's your change." I think this is more than enough humor, the Spider-Man movies aren't comedies.

But I'm thinking more along the lines of sarcastic insults. I know there was some funny scenes in the movies, but I loved reading the comics and laughing at the jokes Spiderman would come up with, and he always seemed to have fun doing it too. And there were his classic comments like when he used a surprise attack. I know the movie isn't supposed to be a comedy, but in the comics and even in the animated series, his humor contributed more to his personality.
