Review the movie here if you seen it, and if you want to review it. Just don't give anything away since there are few here that hasn't seen it yet, like me (until tomorrow!).

And if you try to give away a scene (like something happens in the film that no one knows about) just remember to put it between the spoiler tags.

Insert text here.

Well I'll review the movie tomorrow after I watch it. For those who has seen it post your review here in this thread.:)

Sorry for the double post but here's my review for those who wants to read it. Warning though, it contains some spoilers so don't read it unless you've already seen Spider-Man 3.

Here's the link to the article.

Well, I posted my review in another thread, but since this is the "Official Spider-man 3 Review Thread", I should also post it here.

I myself was profoundly disappointed in SM3. I mean, don't get me wrong - it's an entertaining movie and all - but it's not anywhere the masterpiece of SM2, imo. Honestly, at first I couldn't quite get a grasp what exactly bothered me about it. Tobey, Kirsten, Topher, and all the other actors did an awesome job, and all the imagery was stunning. And bad Pete, he was fun too. Yes, even though I laughed and cried, upon leaving the theater my heart felt oddly empty. Like jumping into an empty swimming pool - no refreshing waters await you, just unexpected pain and misery. After discussing it at length with my best buddy, she summed up in words what my heart itself was feeling. She said "They took the hero out of Peter Parker. He made him a man, a very ordinary man and that's painful. Tobey exits stage left, Spider-Man no more, no more. That's not how I wanted him to go out. I wanted to feel ecstatic about him leaving his heroic imagery impressed in my heart but it was ripped from me, like Venom being shed from Brock."
That last analogy made me laugh, but dang, if she didn't call it spot on. That's how I felt, too. There's just no joy of life, in this movie. Even the love, feels unrewarding. And most of all, here's no payoff for taking the higher road. Our beautiful self-sacrificing hero is gone, replaced with nothing but the loss and remorse of an ordinary man. So sad. :shake:
