while you are typing a post. there is a bold faced B underneath the fonts. click that and you text will be bold. up in the tools there is a yellow box with a mountain in it. click that and paste an image url into it and hit"ok" that will insert images into your post. but you can only have two per post.

Is this post really needed he says. I think it's about time someone had a thread like this to help people newer to the boards. I tried a thread sort of like this one, but people started getting upset and arguments arose, so for those sort of people: Don't post here if you're going to cause a ruckus!
btw: symbiosis55, I don't recall any of those things you mentioned. Here's what I do: your message here[/b ] there shouldn't be any spaces in [] to get this: [b]Spider-Man rocks! Hope that helps.

I've read that before on a post....but see the thing is, I don't have a choice of fonts and I don't have any yellow boxes with mountains on them
I will email you a screen shot if you don't believe me.
Is it possible I have a less enhanced level of membership?

If that's the case, then I have a less enhanced level of membership too.

no problem. Always happy to help!
If you want to learn more effects you can do to the fonts, when you are typing a post, there is a list on the very bottom of the screen that shows posting rules. Click the rule that says vB code and another window should appear with more codes you can use.

So how do you put images in a post?
Well, I'm better at explaining the way I do it: You need to sign up to a website that allows you to upload images. I use http://www.photobucket.com . It only takes a few minutes to sign up and from there you can upload any picture you have on your computer onto the website then you can copy the URL and paste it into a post. For pictures on websites, I think you can copy and paste the picture into a post... but I'm not too sure.
