I know they did in the comics, but like I said, it wouldn't work in the movies.

yeah, would be good.
BUT......................only as Sandman, not Sandmonster.....and only if the fourth movie have Carnage in it. if it don't, them Spidey don't need Sandman's help.

Sandman's story is done, having Uncle Ben's killer and Spiderman together would be too strange.
