Alrighty, where to start.

First off, cropping images is one thing, but taking a bunch of images together isn't always the best way to go. you might want to try brushing some stuff, or making designs, but that might be a bit over your head at the moment.

The biggest thing is text. One of the biggest mistakes from people who are new to photoshop-esk software is an over use of filters and or layer effects. simplistic can be key when it comes to type. Just make sure it fits.
