I completely forgot they would show an extended clip of the Vulture fight. It looks awesome. Whoever says it for little kids, is wrong in a way. Haven't you read the name of the channel? KidsWB. The last part of it reminded me of Spider-Man swinging after putting May down on the ground then swinging off. This going to be so cool. I can't wait. I want to see what everyone looks and sounds like!!! :D

thanks bds. I have to say the animation is done very neatly. Its pretty cool, i guess. I just dont understand how spiderman gets to the top of that building in two leaps up, when ints like 60-70 stories???

KidsWB does mean it is for kids.It's probably going to be directed towards a younger audience. Nonetheless it doesn't mean it's going to be bad. I was just stating what I thought the show would be directed towards. I'll probably watch it too. It looks descent.

they tried to make a new show with a modern twist
and that was dumb of them

i hate the art too

but they should've done something more stylish, less horrible(the whole thing looks anime for corn's sake)

I like the way the city looks. Plus these are only clips. Rememer? Once you watch a few episode, it may change what you think. The last part of the longest clip was the best shot. It reminded me of Spider-Man 2. After he put May down on the ground then swings away. :D

The only voice I've always and will always dislike, is that voice of the helicopter pilot. I don't like that voice actor. :shake: I want to see and hear the rest of the character. :D

The reason they canned the Batman animated series in the 90s was that it wasn't pulling in the kids. It was mostly teenagers (or older) who watched it and that was the wrong demographic. That's why Batman Beyond was created which of course also backfired and mostly had an older audience. The creators thought (correctly) that they were doing good work, but the network has a target demographic to reach. Unfortunately for many good cartoons, if they don't reach the target demographic they are probably doomed. If something comes out for kids that is popular to the kids then a series can live on even if it's not popular with teens and adults. To the networks it's all about who's going to buy the commercials. The ugly nature of the television industry.
By the way, my information about Batman Beyond came from watching the special features (interviews) about it on Disc 2 of Season 1. I haven't watched Season 2 yet.

I really like The Batman that's on KidsWB. I just have to buy Seasons 3 & 4. :D But I think if you like Spider-Man and/or The Batman you'll like this show too. Unless you don't like the style of art or the voices.

Yeah. SInce it's WB the cartoons wil have alltogether a similar type of style which looks like that all the DC characters have in their shows. But IMO, I don't think it looks good for Spidey that well. And also, the voices aren't that great. The show will be what I think, at most, be ok..

I liked the MTV animated series.
MTV's target demographic IS teens though not children.

Yeah, but to me it was a bad interpertation of Spider-man. I liked it as a show, it was entertaining, but it didn't have a Spider-man feel to me. (Although the animation of Spider-man was pure awesomeness).

Personally, I would prefer Kids!WB's target audience over MTV's any day ;)

Yeah.The voices suck.They should have got the guy that talked for Spidey in the 90's series to come back and talk for Spidey.
