does anybody have the full series of the scarlet spider comics that replaced the spidey books for like a month? what did everyone think of it?

The Scarlet Spider was a good series. I think the primary problem people had with is that it replaced Peter Parker. I think Marvel should not have replaced Peter Parker. They misinterpreted the Scarlet Spider's popularity as being more popular than Spidey (Peter Parker) so they thought they could get rid of Peter, which was a huge mistake. You know everyone says the Clone Saga was a tremendous falure, and a big mistake. It really wasn't. It was very popular and made a lot of money, and that' s the truth. The mistake came when they tried to replace Peter with Ben, and in the process he hit MJ. That's what people responded to. They didn't have to kill off Reilly. People liked him, but they again misintrepreted poor sales as if people wanted Reilly dead, which they didn't. They really screwed up. Spidey had 4 monthly books that were all selling very well, they should have given Reilly 2 of those books, sent him to L. A. Florida or Chicago, and he could have remained the Scarlet Spider there. It would have worked. Or they shouldn't have written Peter Parker out he could have remained as Reilly's mentor. I loved the issues where they worked together, even when Parker didn't have power. The worst mistake though, what made everyone really revolt was when they said Peter wasn't the real mccoy. Had they not done that they could have gotten away with keeping Reilly, even as Spidey, but not the real mccoy.
