New animated cartoon series on the WB.
The Spectacular Spider-Man. Witness the original web-slinger's mythology from the beginning! Peter Parker is a not-so-typical high school Junior fresh off an exciting summer engaging common criminals with his new found powers. But now he must conceal his secret idenity as Spider-Man while engaging a new level of terror - the muti-leveled pressures of teenage life at home/school while combatting bigger, badder super villains in the real world. Oh what a tangled web he weaves.

Cool.Alot of stuff has already been posted about the new series but I don't think this has been posted yet.The series looks pretty cool but I don't like the artwork very well.

Age isn't everything. It's just a suggestion and the parent or whomever has to have sense to. If it's like a high PG-13 or R rated movie or show. :) Spider-Man is for any age. At the age of 2 or younger to someone in their 90's.

Is the target demographics for Fox and their sponsors for that timeslot.
In other words, even though the Batman animated series was highly praised and highly watched, it attracted an older audience and they caved to the pressure of the people making the commercials for a younger audience.
Spider-Man the Animated Series was in a similar boat I do believe.
The new series will hopefully do well but I hate when they take too many creative licenses. Hopefully they will be able to keep some of the comics stories non-butchered but I doubt it.

This thread should be stickied as the official Spectacular Spider-Man thread, so we can post everything there. Or maybe another forum should be made for the show itself.

I already made an Art thread for it. I think there should be a forum for it. Then all the popular threads for it can go in there. :)
