I really like how Marko has had a recurring role as a loser criminal as opposed to just popping up this week and becoming sandman, it gives him a bit of a purpose since he's always been this joke criminal and Spider-Man always brings him down.

i think it could easily top last week's episode. ock is introduced in the series in this episode! Osbourn is going to turn marko's partner into the rhino after this! I love this series, its so great and i can't wait till its on itunes. i love how jeff sounds when he says "oh this can't be good"

So do I. Otto doesn't become Ock until the eigth episode, Reaction. Yeah, that should bee nice to see O' Hirn get a shot at Spidey again since he hates him. I can see Osborn being pissed at Marko and O' Hirn after failing and doing it himself since he becomes the Goblin in the seventh episode.:)

Ock was in episode 1 when Toomes was yelling at him. And Ock is part of the experiments making supervillains.

I agree... it wasnt as good as last weeks though. Last week had sooo many characters develop the story, it was fantastic. Reminded me of an actual comic book.

and I heard next week will be the finale of Legion of Superheroes, 1 hour of episodes...so there's a possibility of no Spidey next Saturday.

I almost missed it. I got up less than a minute before it started, I'm lucky! :) But I had my VCR set anyways...

Great episode, probably my favorite yet. The animation was so fluid with Sandman, easily the best animated Sandman we've gotten thus far.

And I liked Gwen's interactions with Peter in this episode, can't wait for the next episode (whenever it's going to air, that is)!

Another great episode.
I loved the fights with Spidey and Sandman, though it would've been cool if Spidey punched right through him like in the movie.
And I liked the side story with the football tryouts. It was nice to see Hobie Brown (AKA Prowler), but couldn't they have given him a line?
I really hope Harry doesn't turn his back on Peter and Gwen now that he's in with the popular kids. And it's interesting how little Norman still doesn't

Anyway, great episode. This is shaping upto be an awesome series. The only problems I have with this show is, the lack of genuine fear and concern for new threats. We've got peeps like Brock haing no prolem trying to jump on and tackle the lizard. wtf is that about? Lack of public animosity towards spidey and I want to see aditional throw away, petty crooks get up to some shinanagins instead of o'hirn and marko all the time. Other than these minor gripes, this show has somewhat become an instant classic. Sandman was awesome. This show basically shouts, "hey spidey movies, you so dropped the ball with what could have been done"!

:yay: Wow that was spectacular as the title says. Man this show is da bomb. I'm sorry I ever doubted it. This show is 1000 times better than Spider-Man 3. And the Sandman gets the fight scenes he really deserves after his dissapointing fight scenes in SM3. He is done justic finally!!!!

One thing I didn't like about this episode nor the first episode for that matter was, the wimpish portrayal of Octavius. He hasn't the subtlest of arrogance or backbone at all in this series and looks like he'll just end up another lackey. I really do hope octavius comes into his own.
