MJ-Gwen-Peter Love Triangle?

Well some of you have metioned that you dont think gwen will die since its a "kids" series
And as we all know MJ is coming in the next episode
and if Gwen doesnt die then we might get a love triangle
what do you guys think?
i dont really want it to happen, so i hope gwen dies sooner or later, and after that MJ can step in

i do not want to see gwen die soon. i hope at first mary jane can be seen as a party girl when she's first introduced, with good looks and not really close with peter. her, peter and gwen can be in a bit of a love triangle when gwen and peter start going out and mj's still in the picture. then gwen can die maybe in season 2, and peter can grow closer to mj with his loss. that way we aren't stuck with the peter/mj relationship for the rest of the show right away.

i could definatly see that since it seems everyone is so mj crazy. as long as they have time to turn gwen and peters relationship from friends to a couple, then have her die so that the viewers care about her, i will be happy. i was thinking another possibility is that gwen and peter never actually go out, and that instead they stay friends. this way, she can either be killed off, or she can stick around.

well theyre already on their way to a relationship so IMO having then stay as friends isnt really a good idea. And if they kill her in like episode 10 then they will have at least 5 episodes to develop a relationship

think about peter and betty... they avoided having a relationship by having it be pursued and failed. peter could tell gwen he wants to stay friends, and she could be kind of dissapointed. then she could start going out with harry and in season 2 if he becomes the green goblin, he could kill her or something. i am not saying this is exactly what i want to happen, but i am saying it is definatly a possibility.

I wouldn't put off Gwen dying in the near future. Some superhero kid shows have shown death, take Legion of Superheroes for example: in the beginning of season 2, one of Triplicate Girl's copies died, and in last week's episode, Brainiac killed Imperiex.
As for the love triangle, this has to be in the show. The 90s series did it well with MJ and Felicia, and if they can do it like that, we have a winner.

I'm assuming the quotations around ' adult oriented ' are a joke right? I love this show, but I can't help but call it cute.

Gwen's too good of a character to loose this fast. Having read the comics (via the Essentials), I'd say she's better than she was in the comics because she's not so,... moody with Peter. I hope she sticks around.

Gwen, to me, has been replaced by Liz Allen. She kinda looked like she lost interest in Peter after the Formal, since he went with MJ and not here, making her feel bad.

That makes me wonder...why wasn't there any mention of that in Reaction? Or how mad Eddie was?

There is no way that they're killing Gwen off anytime soon. If Peter ends up liking her or not, she's one of his best friends. Killing her off would ruin the high-school stuff.

Mary Jane isn't going to be Peter's girl-friend for a while becasue we're all expecting that to be how it goes.

As for the Love Triangle, You can see from the Screen Caps I posted that Gwen is mad, but she's not going to say why and I don't think that she has anything against MJ personally.

And MJ herself said that her and Peter were just friends. She's just going with the flow right now and enjoying being the prom queen at a school she doesn't even go to.

I think that "Reactions" told us that Peter is more likely to start dating Liz. She was his first love in the comics, she did ask him to Coney Island, and she did just break up with Flash after hanging with "Petey" for a few hours!
