Turning Montana into Shocker

I can't always be positive about things Spidey-related. This was one of the most senseless changes to the Shocker and Enforcers characters. What was the reason they gave for making Montana one and the same as the Shocker?

This thread is to poll the Spider-Man movie fans and see what they think. I'm perfectly able to accept that my opinion is in the minority. I don't think it is going to be on this issue though.

the original Shocker was just some senseless bank robberer with nothin against Spidey.............till he got in the way

it took awhile to get used to but it was fine. it would have been better if they had developed the enforcers more in the first episode.

it wasn't bad, because shocker wasn't a completetly random character introduced into the show this way, but shocker is one of my favorite villains and i missed seeing herman shultz. the way i see it now is that when shocker returns it could be herman this time and montana could come back as just montana.

i would like that. herman could find the shocker suit and become the new shocker, and montana could be defeated like the rest of the enforcers.

lol if they'd turn Gwen Stacy into Black Cat or something like many ppl said in here that they'd like that LMAO (in the SM Movies I mean, cuz I'm not interested in the Cartoon lol), I would break the screen in the Theater! :D

Listen man, I prefer the original Shocker aswell... The one from amazing spider-man where I designs the suite in jail. BUT for the Spectacular Spider-Man series this wasn't bad writing at all. They've done some great work with keeping all the characters related and not have it feel overloaded. Most of possible villians where introduced in the episode before they actually became the villian. I like the Spectacular Spider-Man's approach.

Only thing I felt was missing was this :

"This is why they call me, THE SHOCKER!!!"

i agree with spider-tim. I would have liked shultz more but it is no problem, it tied into the story, but the action scenes and stuf were great with da shocker....but yueah he sould probably been shultz

while Shocker was my second favorite villain until now...I don't think it should've been Montana.
though I liked his personality a lot as Shocker
but Herman should take the job from now on.
