[Iron-Spidey]

Catalysts synopsis:



On the night of the Midtown High Fall Formal, Peter Parker finds his overconfidence is nearly his undoing- as both a teenager and a superhero. While his date, Mary Jane Watson, threatens to invert Midtown's social structure, Pete lets her popularity go to his head. So when the mysterious, murderous Green Goblin tries to force L. Thompson Lincoln (a.k.a. Tombstone) to step down as NYC's Big Man of crime, will Spider-Man take this new threat seriously enough- or will he be so cocky he loses his big head?!

Airing Saturday April 26th at 10.

Actually, in the comics, he did have a split personality.

And I don't thik Peter will get anywhere near cocky. Last time's description of "Peter and Harry become obsessed with going for the glory" wasn't accurate at all, so things will happen in this order.

Peter shows up. Flash cries.

Green Gbolin is born, and manipulates Norman into obeyig him.

Peter and MJ share a dance, ad Gwen becomes jealous.

While Pete ad MJ share some love, GG makes some trouble downtown.

Suddenly, Pete has to leave to fight GG.

GG loses, but dance is over by the time Peter returns.

Peter shares a last dance with MJ, and they remain hooked for the rest of the series.

Not at first. He knew he was the Goblin until ASM #40,. where he had amnesia and the Goblin persona resurfaced now and then.

No, he's not. tHERE ARE A FEW REASON'S WHY HE'S NOT The Green Goblin, and Norman is

1. Motive: Why would the person mentioned above attack the Big Man? He has no motive, and if anything, would attack the at the dance. Also, the person I believe it is Norman would wanmt the Big Man out of the picture to avoid getting in troubleif the shecme falls apart
2. dialogue. Gobby says that he could spill secrets. The person socool believed it was (and the writers are leading us to believe) may think something fishy is going on, but does not know the details. The person I believe is the Goblin knows evrything
3. The comics: If you read the early comics, there were lots of twists and red herrings in finding out Gobby's identity. Also, the person socool thought was the Goblin was wearing the same ruined outfit before he took the "formula". So he changed out of his ruined outfit, got the goblin costume on, and then cahnged back into HIS RUINED OUTFIT INSTEAD OF A DRY OUTFIT?

Harry goes to his locker after Whats her name leaves him for her old boyfriend (Before he runs out, he spills punch on his shirt and hands). He pulls out a serum marked "GreenGoblin" and drinks it, then runs outside. Of coarse the green goblin comes into the episode, but at the end we see Harry (still having the punch he spilled all over him, in the same spot) and drinking the rest of the serum.

Thats why I think that Norman still has to be the Goblin. Plus, Hes the only one who knows how to get into the lab, and scare Otto.

Idk if anyone else noticed this, but GG and Spidey were taking an awful lot at the ballroom. I believe they where trying to build character and stuff. I have no idea why though, I mean, Goblins not like a MAJOR Spidey villain... :innocent:

Probably loosely adaptating the drug storyline from the 70's. Harry taking drugs to make him forget his problems. Makes sense after seeing this episode.

I think the serum will have an effect, but it is just making us thinkg he's Gobby. Harry didn't hear all of the conversation with Hammerhead, si he doesn't know what's going on.

While she does have a right to feel sad, when she said "I guess he meant he wasn't going with me.", she had her chance to ask him. Too bad we didn't see Eddie confront Pete about this though. Maybe next week.
I'm gonna take a bet that MJ just might know Peter is Spider-Man, just by the way she was so cool with him leaving the dance. She must of saw him come out of his window as Spider-Man some time like in Parallel Lives. And seeing MJ and Pete together on the show just makes me feel happy to see them together, and sad that Joe Quesada took this away from us in the comics.

And we got Goblin coming back next week along with the debut of Doc Ock! How much more awesome could this show be?!

I'm gonna take a bet that MJ just might know Peter is Spider-Man, just by the way she was so cool with him leaving the dance. She must of saw him come out of his window as Spider-Man some time like in Parallel Lives. And seeing MJ and Pete together on the show just makes me feel happy to see them together, and sad that Joe Quesada took this away from us in the comics.

And we got Goblin coming back next week along with the debut of Doc Ock! How much more awesome could this show be?!

this show is great at building up future events like eddie brock is slowly disliking peter more and more and...well... i can't think of anymore,but i know there's more. i just can't remember. all im saying is that this show is well written.

You won't find it on youtube because kids wb have put a ban on it. Also, downloading the torrents of these episodes takes about 20mins at the most and I also think a bit more discression when requesting these episodes is in order for obvious reasons.

As for this episode, is was really good. I think it gets more credit than it deserves but it was still a mighty fine episode. In fact, these episodes put the spidey movies to a degrading shame. I loved Vanessa Marshal's outing as MJ (loved her since she voiced olga in metal gear solid 2) The goblin was great, I love how they're adhering to the comics with the goblin trying to take over the criminal underworld. The animation was spot on and everything about this episdoe was just fantastic, mnus a few flaws this epsode gets a solid 8.5/10.

You know, I liked it, but I think Ep.6 was right up there with it. Definately keeps you coming back for more though. I like Gwen's voice acting better than Mary Jane's because she seems less, she's not exaggerated. Mary Jane is always exaggerated in the cartoons. Either way though, it's nice that they're doing her character right. I was afraid they'd make her superficial, like she pretended to be in the comic.

for one i think eddie's role was perfect for this episode. they want to keep him in the backround for now, and he didn't have to say any lines but you knew he was upset at peter. this anger is going to brew, and then peter is going to do something so horrible that eddie goes off. then he finds the symbiote. thats why i think the gwen mj peter triangle will start off now, and eddie will be left behind by gwen.

I thought this episode was excellent. The show really does seem to be getting better and better with every episode. The story seems to be advancing nicely, and all the battles were great. I really like how Goblin turned out. Almost perfect.
