Be Careful What You Wish For... (Episode 11)

In the episode summery for number 11, it says that spidey wishes for a way to defeat the sinister six, but that he should be careful for what he wishes for. originally i thought that maybe he would rid himself of the suit and maybe venom would take care of the six, or something along this line. now i can't figure it out, because spidey gets rid of the symbiote in the middle of episode 12. please give any ideas you have on what the twist could be in this episode...

With Electro's help, Doctor Octopus busts himself, Vulture, Sandman, Rhino and Shocker out of Ryker's Island to quench their mutual desire for revenge. Even with his new black alien Symbiote suit, Spider-Man finds The Sinister Six are more than he can handle. Peter Parker might wish for an easier way out of this predicament, but be careful what you wish for, Pete...

The symbiote's probably gonna get the best of his emotions and bring out the bad side in him, thus how he beats the SS, letting loose with his powers. Symbiote Spidey's bio on the back of the toy box says he becomes a more aggressive person, so that's what I'm betting on here.

The symbiote's probably gonna get the best of his emotions and bring out the bad side in him, thus how he beats the SS, letting loose with his powers. Symbiote Spidey's bio on the back of the toy box says he becomes a more aggressive person, so that's what I'm betting on here.

But if his emotions get the best of him here, what does that leave for the next episode when he looses the suit? :confused:

yes i agree that this could be like in the 90's series when he totally lashes out on everyone and everything. then in the next episode it could start to take total control of his personal life too. thats when he gets rid of the suit. but i also think it would be interesting to see an old foe, or a surprise ending to the episode.

Yeah, like how everyone's being affected by Peter's change. Aside from Venom at the end, I don't want there to be a villain in this episode. Just make it an Peter episode. I want to see if they can do that.

But I think Peter would try to ditch the suit the minute he realizes that he's lashing out.
Like in the cartoon, the second that it tried to make him kill Shocker, he got rid of it.

I've allso heard that Cat would be back.
And about S6. I think the symbiote's powers will take care of them.
With a little help from Cat.
Peter gets scared and go to Connors (FF aint gonna be there) and take a test.
But He doesnt Find a way to get ridd of it until ep 12.

And I have a HUGE feeling that Peter will do something.. Bad, to either M.J or Gwen before losing the suit. And by that making Eddy even more angry.

Maybe Green Goblin comes to the rescue? Esp if it's really Harry. Just a thought.

i was thinking that too, but i am not sure if they would want to bring back the goblin storyline right as venom is coming into play. they might want to save that until season 2. i think bring back black cat now is too soon, because she was just in the last episode. i am starting to buy into the symbiote taking total control over the six and leaving the peter we used to know behind.

I agree. It would be waaaaay too early to bring Goblin back. They just took Harry out of the theme song after all. I think that was they're way of telling us that the Osborns are going to be out of sight for a while.

Please do not take my mention of the Goblin and and Harry at the same time as a reason to bring the Goblin argument into this thread... :(

haha yes lets not make this a who's the goblin thread. but yes, i do think the goblin storyline has been put on ice until the 2nd half of the 2nd season atleast, but we will get more clues to whats happening as the 2nd season goes on.

We were kinda talking about this topic in the episode 12 thread.

well in that episode's description it mentions this be carful for what you wish for kind of thing with peter so he must have done something that was going too far or something giving the symbiote more control

Very true...

Maybe throughout "Group Threapy" he'll be loosing control and at the end he'll completely loose it.

In this episode, he'll finally go to get help. Try to get rid of the suit...Or go to Dr. Connors for help!
Then Eddie will know that Spidey took the suit and really have a reason to hate him. :venom:
