Hang on, did anyone actually read the article? It doesn't say anything about Todd McFarlane saying that Topher should return. It only says Todd doesn't think the movie would work.

haha i noticed that too. people wamt venom sooo bad they look past everything thats holding the movie up and see that small dim ray of optimism that remains for the character's immediate movie future.

he was pretty good but he needed more time in the movie. im would be fine to have him play venom again. the movie will fuel peoples need to see venom and after they get there fill they'll realized venom isn't as good as they thought. he's still cool for me but not a great villain. he just looks cool.
