It never occured to me until last night, but I am obsessed with Spider-man, have the curtains, toys and tattoo, but I am scared of REAL spiders, I know where the fear stems from, when I was 5 I woke up with my face itching, when i woke there was a big fat house spider next to my face so I screamed, and web fell in my mouth!!! And since then I have been scared!!!!

Just thought I'd share that with you all!!!!

I am the same way...my wife makes fun of me all the time that Spider-man is my Fav. yet I scream like a girl whenever I see a real one.

When I was about 8, I went to go run some bath water for my little brother and a cup was in the tub. As I reached down to pick it up a tarantula about the size of a doughnut...except not as yummy looking, crawled out and over my hand. I FREAKED!!!
Ever since then, I don't do spiders and I don't do baths....my wife took a while to get used to the last one... :^)

I'm the complete opposite I love real spiders, dam it some of em are my friends, I spend hours playing with them at home!

I like spiders even though some might look a little creepy I try to deal with it.I read alot about spiders and catch them so I can study them also.

I'm not really scared of any type of bug...as long as it's not touching me. I can sit watching a spider move around, or have bees fly around me, as long as it's not near my face or touching me, I don't care. But bugs (and arachnids) are the coolest things to just sit and watch.

Here's a tasty little stat I heard on the radio. The average North American ingests roughly a dozen spiders in their sleep. Aparently they crawl into your mouth as you sleep and not knowing we eat 'em!

I swear to whatever you believe in, that's what I heard.

I love spiders! As a few of you already know, I have a Black Widow for a pet (Natasha). I think spiders are just amazing to watch. I don't get a lot of time to raise conventional type pets, because of my work............so it's nice to have Natasha there in the aquarium where I work.......... to watch, and keep me company!

(She's a lousy conversationalist though)

Spiders are totally fascinating, I love watching them scale walls in my living room, it must seems like a high story building to them, could u imagine having that power?

Till I find a way to truly become spider-man as I experiment in my little labratory, and oh, look, theres a little spider web on the wall behind my puter how cute!, but until I can spin a web of my own then Make Mine Marvel!

I don't like spiders, because one time when i was in the bath room a Huge spider crwaled trought the window, I just couldn't kill it even thought i tried

Love Spider-Man...hate spiders. Not fear, hate. In a remarkable twist of fate, I despise the arachnids that gave my all-time favorite super-hero his powers.

They are ugly, nasty, creepy-looking, and in my area, quite a few poisonous ones. So, squash, splat, step, stomp, etc.
