Hello Everybody,

I am new to these boards... I have checked them and I really like the way that the discussions take place :) even when someone gets nasty, you know how to steer them :)

Anywho, I wanted to get to know everyone.. so any of you could just post a little message here with whatever information you want to share any information about yourselves :)

Let me start first,

I live in the midwest (Wisconsin) Yeahh... the Dairy state and the land of the cheese heads :-P

At any rate, I am married, but no children (hey, lots of freedom!!!!!). My favorite color is blue, my favorite animal (and also my animal guide -- according to the Native American foklore) I am not, however, an American Native-- although there is nothing wrong with it :)---

I have liked Spider-Man for a long time. I confess that I don't know as much as you know regarding Spidey, but I am willing to learn with your help. I particularly liked the cartoon series of the seventies.

I just want to say that.... IT WAS ABOUT TIME THAT THEY CAME UP WITH A MOVIE ABOUT Super-Man!!!!!!!

As you can probably tell, I am the resident anal dude and debator. I enjoy posts that are open for debate, and have gotten somewhat of a reputation as being negative and argumentative. Well, I tell you, everyone who says that is WRONG!

Well, how did you guess? :-P... Yes, the cougar is one of my favorite animal. The reason is that I attended a men's group which was based on rituals from Native Americans, and the cougar just happened to be my animal guide.

Then, after the cougar, I like dolphins... they are so smart and they seem to enjoy the company of humans

I try to be nice but eventually end up offending someone unintentionally with my strong opinions.

I'm a little bit of a feminist and a little bit of a masculinist, depending on the topic. That said, I am not a zealot in either direction, I just like to give credit where credit is due, and I think boys should be allowed to play with trucks if they want to! :P I also think women should be valued on more than appearance.

I am in my twenties. I don't care much for Spider-Man the comic. I have been a fan of Tobey Maguire's since about 1992 or so (back in his Hot Rod Brown class clown days). Kirtsen dunst is cool, too, though she comes off as a bit of a fluffernutter since she said she didn't take a part in American Beauty because she didn't understand the story.

American Beauty is one of my fave films. Right along with Reservoir Dogs and A Room with a View. I'm all over the place.

I am Estran. I live about 30mins from New Orleans, Louisiana. I have been an avid fan of Spidey for years. But i tend to lean towards X-men more. I am not that much into the messages as Buzzly is. And i think Buzzly is doing a great job being the Medeator. I tend to the more different topics like Crow vs Spidey. and other things. I also Tend to try and help ppl then get into a debate with them. Cause everyone has a different opinion and they have the right to it weather we like it or not. Even though i may not like the idea of the new GG look or the idea of changing him pretty much entirely i will wait to pass judgement till may 3rd. other then that i'm a great guy. i'm 21 and i love the idea of a spiderman movie. I love his outfit. very nice. and seeing Toby working out and looking like that has got me hitting the gym..even though i have a killer chest and abs..i need the arms to match. lol. I do promise you will see more of me when they have a message board for X2 (X squared) the X-Men sequal. but i'm always up for a good topic or something to talk about so hit me up whenever ya want to talk about anything

A "masculinist!" I love it! :) I think that is the first time I have ever heard that term used. It's about time we had someone stand up for the rights of men.

I am not sure how I got the title of "mediator." I am not a guide -- I think Manilla and Ghost are doing a fine job by themselves. I am just an avid fan, who cannot wait for the movie to come out, and who is quite opinionated. I like to debate, and I love to write, and I guess that equates to me posting a lot of messages in controversial topics. Alas, such is my fate to be considered argumentative :)

In any case, I love chatting here, even though the board tends to piss me off from time to time. However, all things evolve, including this board, and as of right now I am relatively happy with it.
