I can handle some changes in the characters but don't take away something that we all grew up knowing about Peter Parker.

I don't care who's making this movie, or who's funding it. Spiderman isn't theirs, it's the fans.
Why does the director feel a need to change something to make it their own? It was never Raimi's in the beginning and it's not now. I read the script by Cameron and I almost threw up. He twisted the whole story around. I wasn't sure if I was reading about Spiderman or Mary FRIGGIN Poppins.
When this film is released it's the fans who will be paying for the movie. Stay true to the story, the original story. Not some weird idea someone dream up in while on the toilet.
I want to see the development of web shooters. If it means adding an extra 20 minutes to the film then do it. If it's not cost productive, then the studio should have never taken on the project. I've waited for this film for a long time. Don't mess it up. Please don't mess it up.

I hope to god that they don't do anyhting to ruin the franchise, My only question is why they waited so long to do a quailty spider man movie It's going pt be great , but with the web shooters I think on one hand they should have them but on the other they could be trying to incorparate the ability of the Venom costume that had unlimited webbing that way were not watching about 25 minutes of him changing webbing cartridges in between battles and all of a sudden him getting side swiped it might just be for the best that way they can increase the storyline of the movie hopefullly they don't mess with the spider sense or his superhuman strength ( lift upto 15 tons)
or his fighting style or his Super agility orm his great snese of humor like in the comic he make a comment and the villian gets all mad and they make a huge mistake and spidey sometimes ends up winning hopefully they bring in his friendship with the Human Torch maybe i n a later movie this movie may flop or not to makje sure they should have some of us from the spidey homnepage get a test viewing of the movie before it goes to the public that way we can judge if the movie is upto Par with the Blade movie
I've been a fan since I was four years old back in the early
eighties i just don't want it to a bad movie is that hard to understand all studio Excs care about is the money they'll make or lose

i have been a spiderman fan for as long as possible. from what i can see and have heard this movie will not disappoint any of us too much. i am as excited as anyone to see how the produciton company pulls this one off. we should be more concerned about what they will do with the sequals (need i remind anyone of what happend to Batman). as far as his web shooters go i can totally believe that they should be part of his genetic mutation. he has all other characteristics of a spider except that one? it makes alot of sense to have genetically mutated web shooters rather than mechanical ones....plus he'll save millions on webbing fluid!!! ;-)

Whassup everybody im new to this spider-man site and im telling you all that i just love it. I'm 16 yrs. old and i have been a fan of spidey since i was like 3 or 4, i remember very well back in the day i had the ill spider-man pajamas outfit, I miss that thing. Anyway i can't wait till the movie comes i will be so excited, i really do hope they dont change anything and stick to the story how it was in the comic. What would really excite me is if they have have a special cameo of Daredevil, Black cat or eddie brock the soon to be venom. Well whatever happens lets just hope the movie doesnt look like THE OLD SPIDER-MAN TV SHOW GOSH THAT SHOW SUCKED, HIS WEB WAS MADE OUT OF ROPE....LOL BLAST THOSE OLD 70's SHOWS!!!!!

I just heard through the g****vine that they're thinking of replacing Cliff Robertson, who's playing Uncle Ben, with Tony Danza. I think this may be the slight change that could make the spiderman movie. Go on spidey fanatics... gotta love it!

All I have to say is keep him like he always has been. I might not know as much as other people but keep spidey like in the comics. Throw in a little bit from the t.v. show I dont care just keep him the same.
