The thing I am very glad about, in retrospect of all the news and trailor is that the filkmakers appear to not be selling out. They could have just got a big hollywood name and done a run of the mill piece of turd. But they look like they actually care about the movie, and not just the big buck (or punds if you are british like me;)
Although we won't know for certain till we see the film but to me it looks like we will have a film that whilst looking hollywook style slick, will have substance and stay true the spidey we know and love.
I would love to see a cameo from Nick hammond, that would rock!!
