ENOUGH ABOUT DOC-OC's STREANGTH

Ok, I think we've pretty much covered that we all wish to see DocOc throw busses, cars & taxies. Oh yeah, everything that stands in his way. DocOc's streangth is incredable, yes we know this by now.
Spideys streangth in S-M II is far more importened to show the audience, cause we all know that Occie will destroy every machinary that stands in his way. Think about it. They really didn't show that much of how powerfull spider-man really is in the first movie. In S-M II we need to see spidey lift cars, and throw motorcyckles directly at Occie. Swing them around in the air like crazy. Some wants to see him lift busses but I dont think he's cabable of lifting that much, is he???
Anyway, we reeeeeaaaaallllyyyy need to see just how strong spidey is.

and yes, if spidey called upon all his spider-strength, he probably could lift a bus....... maybe .......

I think there's a big difference in what you can lift, and what you can throw...for example if a normal person can bench 250 pounds, I'm willing to bet he couldn't throw 250 pounds very effectively.

spidey can lift a bus, but he can't throw it. he can throw a car quite effectively, though. i would love to see spidey throw some cars at ocks head!! that would be too sweet. i also think spidey should beat the snot out of ock at the end of the movie. i won't longer version of the fight with the green goblin from the last movie. spidey getting whooped, ock making him mad, and then spidey laying the smack down! does it get any better than that?!

Spider-man can lift ten tons, although in stessful situations he can lift a little more.

Okay, I'm not that excited. Thank God, someone finally agrees with me. I tried to start a conversation on this a couple of months ago and no one liked the idea. Who gives a #@!%&*(doesn't stand for anything) if spidey doesn't destroy public property that much in the comics. If he'll throw cars at Hulk, he can throw them at Oc. How else are we supposed to see his strength. If he can't reach Ock, how is he supposed to knock him into orbit? A lot of exageration, but ya'll get the picture. No offense to anyone that still doesn't like the idea.

spidey can lift 10 tonnes and a lil' more when he really needs to. But i also remember reading an old spidey comic where he's standing on a lorry type truck and he's carrying a helicopter above his head. Also in the 1st movie they did show his strength although you dont reallt think much of it at the time, it was when he was carring that car carriage full of kids after GG dropped it along with MJ.

how would he be able to lift a bus? hed have to be right underneath the centre of the bus to be able to balance it propery... on the show on fox he said he could barely lift a volkswagon... i was fine with that strength... but if he can lift ten tons why doesnt he just pick a bad guy up and throw them... he could definatly throw someone pretty far. then when they finally hit the ground the guy would be knocked out and all ready to go to jail...anyone?

In the comics he's punched villains that went flying way up in the air and he just let them fall to the ground...it was definitely effective.

he did it to scorpion in ASM# 343. it was after the sinister six, but before the venom story. i think that was the issue. i have it at home. somewhere.
