What's the buttom line?
**** we're hyped all of us, huh...
We're all just a little scared about this movie. We're afraid that it will fail. But that's just because we all think that spider-man is a great character, and movies has been known to destroy many of the superhero characters. The first spidey movie was awesome, and you know what?? The second one is gonna be even better! Sure we're all a little concerned about Peter beeing a Pizza boy and stuff like that, but we haven't seen the movie, so that leaves us with a big question mark of what to think of it. Sure we're afraid that we'll walk out of the theater thinking that spider-man 2 wasn't as good as the first, but that's also only because we're all a little nervous of what to expect from this movie that's just about 60 million dollars above the first and that they say will be a much bigger and better film.
Personally I WAS a little afraid to get my hopes up to begin with, but not any more amigo's!
This movie will be huuuge. Better story, better effects. It'll be a lot more intens & dramatic. A lot more mature, in an even more realistic world then the first. It'll seem more real, propobly because Raimi wanted to go a bit darker with this picture.
The whole crew and cast that made the magic and brought spider-man to life, starting of with the 2002 blockbuster SPIDER-MAN, is back. This time they just spend 60 million more then in the first film. I have faith! This movie will rang it self as the top one superhero movie of all time, earning back a hell of a lot more respect to the superhero world.
AND THAT'S THE BUTTOM LINE!

Any one who is a member of the HYPE will agree w/ me that it won't be just an explosion there... IT'LL BE A NUC. MUSHROOM EXPLOSION!!! And that'll just be the trailer.... When the trailer does come out there will certainly be people who loved it, but also people who didn't love it so much and they'll get flamed to cinders because it's the higher ranks way or the high way. A great day the movie/trailer release will be, yes.... But DARK! :o  ;)

Sure it's great & exiting that we have a date for when the long awaited teaser will hit this website (I can all most taste it), but let's face it, the REAL juice doesn't come out with the teaser but with the long (3 minutes) theatrical trailer. I wonder when that'll premier on the net???
STILL! If this teaser is really the one that has been described, it sounds like that we might get more then what is usually expected of a teaser!

..that's just because we all think that spider-man is a great character, and movies has been known to destroy many of the superhero characters. superhero movies destroy superhero movies. i dont think any movie can destroy the superhero character itself-- Superman is still Superman, no matter how many lousy movies & TV shows came out.. so cheer up guys!

I'm just saying that, for exampel the first superman was historic. The second was also really cool. The third and fourth! Have you seen them? The same with Batman. The first two are really cool and the last two sucks like nothing has ever sucked before. Because of these lame sequels many people looses interest of the character that was ones so interesting.
Tobette, when you say that superman will always be superman, that's like saying batman will always be batman right. Well in Batman 4 he iceskates! Klings are coming out of his boot. Does that sound like a commen thing for batman to do??? I dont think so. They make him look so ridiculous, ergo they have destroyed the character. Well at least in the movie anyway. But I see your point though.

Jameson said everybody loves a hero, and all will watch them fall. We always look for them to be bigger than life. Most of us want to see something of ourselves in them. Spider-man is a more relatable hero because, he is just Peter Parker in the Marvel Universe. Clark Kent is a big city reporter, Bruce Wayne is a millionaire etc. I will probably never be rich or famous. I could most likely get a job delivering pizzas. If I did not get the over qualified rejection. Spider-man is my favorite comic hero. Because I am not rich, famous, popular, or powerful, but just a decent person like all the others I see every day. I could be Peter Parker. On the bottom line couldn't you.
