Give GG credit where credit is due. He has been one of the deadliest of Spidey's enemies for decades. Plus, he knows Spidey's secret identity. What has he done with that info? Tormented the wallcrawler with the "death" of aunt May, and tried to brainwash him into being the heir to the Goblin legacy, among plenty of other things. So leave him alone, he may just do the Spidey universe a favour.

I agree with symbspid. The green goblin is like the joker was to batman , like lex luther to superman. He is the ultimate first challenge to spidey

Just give it some time, I'm sure there will be a sequel.....the other villians will have their moment in the spotlight.

New fans don't know, but GG is the greatest asskicker of them all. His anger and hate against Spidey became like a disease... And remember that, like Venom (another great bad m*f**), he knows Spidermans identidy, and can be a constant menace to him.
Besides, he is the oldest enemy, and can teach the "freshmen" (including Venom and Carnage) how the fly can catch a spider...
