Spider-man: Maximum Carnage

At first I thought so too, but as a first movie, I now believe that the story should focus on a more classic villain, which of course, Raimi is doing. Maybe as a future sequel, perhaps it would fly. Right now, however, the idea would be SHOT OUT OF THE SKY.

I'm not sure if Maximum Carnage would be good for the second movie, maybe the thrid. You have to first introduce Venom and get an understanding for him before you go into his offspring Carnage. You could have venom in the second movie and have it lead into a third movie about the Maximum Carnage storyline

yes it would be alot better if the movie would have CARNAGE and VENOM in it..cause everyone knows how spidy was made + the fx now a days would make this movie dam cool..and plz if u do make the next movie with CARNAGE and VENOM dont and i meen dont make it for kids plz..FOR THE LOVE OF GOD !!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. Maximum Carnage was a really cool story with great characters. I'll give you that much. But a movie with that many characters would need a really good script to keep the idea afloat for very long. The list of villians would probably be shortened, as would the list of heroes. I see this movie as more of a three man job. Given in the second movie they introduce Venom at least somewhat, so that in the third movie his costume can spawn Carnage. It would be cool as just Spidey, Venom, and Carnage, like it was when Carnage first appeared in the comic books. Maximum Carnage centered around those three characters anyway, why not cut the fat and just keep it as a triangle storyline?

NOT A CHANSE. Not a single chance. First, like said Spider2017, list of heroes/villains will be shorted, second: Theres to much blood. Theres not a chance for a script without cenzure. And third, this could be a 6, or 7 part of the movie.

No way! If they try and have Venom and carnage in a 6th or 7th movie then it' ll get like batman 4 and go too far with this great concept. Maybe they could go as far as 4 movies why not but SEVEN!!! no way man!

Maxium carange would make a great sequel but
Spider Man has so many worthy adversaries
from Doc Ock, Lizard, King-Pin, Sand Man,
Rhino,Mystero,and list goess on , the best way
to go is this Spider Man 2 Venom and second powerful villian then Spider Man 3 Sinister Six by that time spider man
would be establised and you caould bring in any villan you want and last Spder- Man 4 Maxium Carnage bring back Venom let loose Carnage and another big villan thats the way to do it.

What you need is Doc Ock for the 2nd movie, along with a powerful, but stupid, villian, like the Rhino or Shocker. People want to see another classic villian for the 2nd movie. Save the spider replicas for the 3rd movie. In fact, ditch Carnage. With him in the movie, you'd be up to NC-17 :) Just a suggestion

Maximum Carnage was a blinding story when it came out but it really has way too much back story. We've not only got Venom but Carnage as well, although they are two of the best villains audiences need to know where they came form. Then we've got Shreik and the doppleganger,Carrion plus apperances from Cloak and Dagger, deathlok,Captain America etc adn the existence of Peter Parkers parents.
Good idea but a bit too ambitious.

ITs nice to dream but I agree with Spiderfan0 The rating would wind up being NC-17 or NR all together. To truely do it right Do it as an independant film or put it on the Web. That way you willl get Mass media And then you can truley do it justice without the BS of cencorship.

If Venom and Carnage ever got introduced into the movies, which I wouldn't personally like see happen, I agree with Digital Burn, in that Venom could be in say, the 3r one, then at the end you see Cletus Cassidy in his cell and the spawn heading for him. If you made that a movie then sooner or later you'd have a movie about "Seperation Anxiaty" where Venom's spawns were harvested and there were 5. Then Spider-Man would be pushed out completely.

Somebody get a copy and read that story. Unless that's the only Carnage story you remeber --or you missed the boat when Carnage first came on the scene. Maximum Carnage is not the way to go.

Everyone has a good point but I agree that Maxium Carnage would be way too much. Dont get me wrong, I love the story but it would confuse everyone!!! It would be like a bad twilight zone. The movie needs to be cut to a minimun and cant have that many side line stories. Also the 2 movie should intoduce the original bad guys like doc ock the 3 should be the one with venom and carnage.
