Think about this. If you have had 4 movies released, X-men ,Spidey,Hulk, FF eventually you could combine them all into a film as has been done so many times in the books.

One of the NICE things about doing Movie ADAPTATIONS - is that they don't have to be just like the comics.

A comic book is a rockin thing... it's loaded with action, fast, fun dialogue and art. But a comic is 2 dimensional. It's a flat medium - and all the action really comes from the white spaces between the art work. You provide it with your imagination

A good movie works the other way around. To do any kind of a team up movie you need to have lots of simple characters with no depth to them, or one or two characters with a moderate depth and life moved along by action and or humor. Not so easy in a flick with 5-10 heros/villians.
