You know that you've always thought about who would be the best actor to fill the role of that favorite fictional hero. So spill it!! If you could choose any actor alive or living to bring your fictional character to life on the big screen who would it be?
One I've always thought of...
Arnold as Colossus
more to come....

spiderman keanu reeves : "spider sense tingling whooa"
doc ock lawrence fisburn
jim carrey is the green goblin
venom dolf lungren
rhino: the wwf's the big show
gambit jean claude vandam
bishop ving rames
psylocke tia carrera
the prowler samuel l jackson
sandmanis wwf's the rock
Sorry guys just got one thing to disagree on... VanDamme is way too slimy and overdone for Gambit. He's just not sexy. Gambit - Gambit IS SEXY. I don't really know who I'd cast as him though? (a friend once said Chris Kline as like a young Remy but I'm still not to sure on that?! I can see it working and I can see it not!)
But who ever it is - hard battlesuit to fill...
(itf you can't tell Remy's my all time fave supe)
Te rest all sound cool... Arnold as Colossus is GREAT!

Have you seen Spiderman lately? Clearly Ben isn't the best choice for Spiderman, he's too big, and not lanky enough maybe Colin Hanks (Tom Hanks' son) he'd be pretty good for Spiderman, just the right amount of geekyness, but that's just me.

Wow, never thought of Robert Duncan McNeill as Daredevil. McNeill is cool, but not sure if he could pull that one off.
As far as my picks-sticking with Marvel, I would prob go with:
Spidey: Colin Hanks (I can see that poss. working, he does have that 'geeky' quality)
Wolverine: Hugh Jackman (why mess with what was a great casting call IMO)
Daredevil: David Duchovny (if he bulked up some)
Gambit: Breckin Meyer

How about Dennis Quaid as Gambit??
He's done a previous film in the Cajun Accent and it was great, (can't remember the name of the film though, played a Cajun Cop in the Bayou's).
Yes I know he's a bit old for the role, but he would really look the part, has the build, the hair, the face & most important of all, an excellent Cajun Accent!!!

What's up true believers !!!!!
I got to digging through my comics and ran across a few episodes with Tarantula. I always thought he was a really cool villain,.......how 'bout this.........................
Antonio Banderas? I dunno,....I've seen him in just about everything he's done and it seems to me that he could pull off the sinister wit Tarantula had. As for somebody saying Jim Carrey,......ya'll think he could pull off the Jackal? Anyway,...I finally got to see the world premeire of the new trailer on E and I thought it was pretty cool !! I'm really hoping the soundtrack rocks! Stay true Spidey fans!!!!!!!!!!!
'Nuff said !!!

Tobey is good for spidey, i cant think of playin anyone else there really,
daredevil, goes to ben afleck for sure
gambit would be tough to fill, need someone tall lean and with attitude, brad pitt could probably do it
nightcrawler, tom cruise, he is certanly small enough hes only like 5'4.
britney spears or britnay daniels the chick from joe dirt both great black cats in my opinion.
vin diesel would be a pretty kick *** venom
punnisher would be interesting i cant think of anyone for that role,

Just a note here, but I believe the Quaid film you're referring to was the "Big Easy", where he was a cop in Louisiana.

You're really going to see how little I know about the Marvel Universe here because I can't even remember this villains name. I think it's something like Mophisto? I'm sure you'll all know who I'm talking about; the guy that's supposed to be the Devil's Son.
Anyway, I was reading in one of my friend's Wizards a couple years back, and they have that casting call feature in there. They stated that Gary Oldman should play this powerful villain because, in their own words, "who better to play the son of the devil than his second cousin." Not only did I truly appreciate this quote, but I had no choice but to agree with it. It just made sense to me, since Gary Oldman is one of the greatest villains in motion pictures today.
Also, just as a note, Stan Lee said that Toby McGuire was a perfect fit for Peter Parker, and who am I to argue with the man who knows more about Parker than anyone. Thus, I'll take Toby as Spiderman...
I always thought Jack Nicholson would have made a good Wolverine (back in the day anyway), but Hugh Jackman definitely took charge of that role. I honestly don't think I could argue with any of the X-Men cast that was selected, especially with Patrick Stewart as Prof. X and the great Sir Ian McKellan as Magneto. Hat off to those two for being willing to take on such roles. Their being in that film would have been enough to give it complete legitimacy in my mind.
Dare I say, I really like the pick of Vin Diesel as Venom too.
I think I may have already over-stepped my bounds here, so I suppose that'll be enough out of me.
Bannachadee all, as always...
