I'm assuming he's not counting reprints.
Depends, really, I can find out my oldest comic that's in *good* or better condition, or could find my oldest comic that I bought from the nickel rack and likely is ratty but yet served the purpose of reading it.

Yikes! I'd have too many to look through. I collected a lot of titles back then. But the cover price was 12 cents.

I'm actually in posession of a ASM #1. Always wished I could spring for an Amazing Fantasy #15..........but, you know.

Maybe someday I'll breakdown and buy a low grade copy.

When it comes down to it, I have a reprint - if I ever got an opportunity to get one for a decent price, or after I get inheritance <lol> then I will, but not just now.

my oldest is Amazing Spider-Man #205. My most expensive is the Spider-Man: Maximum Clonage comic. The last time I checked, it was worth $60. I'm gonna save my money and buy some of the older ones down at this comic book store I live by. They are the early Romita issues. I think the oldest one there is the one with the Kraven late 40's. Then there's 50's 60's all the way to the current 500's we're in now! So I'm gonna get one of those.

Mine is issue #4, lizards, lizards, everywhere.

My mistake, it's #71 in The amazing Spider-man and it's Doc Ock lives, which was made in 1970.

Yeah, I buy both old and recent, mostly the older versions because they remind me when I was kid and used to read them but I never really had a lot of comics back then so I'm making it up now. I don't read usm that much, they only recent ones I read are the amazing and spectacular spider-man series.

The oldest Spidey related book in my vast collection is Marvel Tales #118 which is a reprint where Pete thought he was going crazy when all his foes were attacking him at once. It was a prelude to a Mysterio imposter story. If I still had that Gibbon issue it would have been my oldest.
