Hi, I've been reading all you guys' posts for months now, but this is my first time posting. I'm just so excited about this movie, I can't wait and thought I'd join the conversation. Has anyone picked up any of the SM2 trading cards made by Upper Deck? You can get them anywhere. They have pics you can't find anywhere else...and film cells... and holograms. WAY COOL! Feels juvenile, buying trading cards at my age, but it is worth it. Check them out Thanks for your posts, I've enjoyed them all.

It's funny, initially I bought them for my kids and now I won't let them touch them for fear they will bend, s****e, marr, otherwise damage these sacred spider-man objects.

My sister bought me this cute little Spider-man lunchbox for my birthday. I'd love to take it to work with me, but it's so incredibly small a 5-year old would starve to death trying to use it. Then someone suggested a novel idea: "Why don't you use it for your Spider-man trading cards?"

"Wow!" I said. Great idea! Only one problem:

I don't HAVE any Spider-man trading cards.:(

I DO have a huge stack of MARVEL cards. I've been thinking of trying specifically with Spidey, but I didn't know if they had any top-of-the-line, high-grade cards. Y'know, serious collector's items.

And you're NEVER to old to have ANYTHING to do with the wall-crawler. Makes me feel young, myself.

Oh, yeah...welcome to the boards. Look forward to hearing from you more.;)

Indiana Jones is my all time fave. I used to have a painted plate with Indy standing outside the lions head from the Last Crusade. When I moved my stuff out of the college dormitory, it got left on the top shelf of a closet and was never seen again. I grieve the loss of it frequently, as does my husband who bought it for me and paid good money too. Nice to see another Indy fan.

When Spider-man came out, Indy had his first rival in my favorite movie series.

btw, I'm still looking for a link to the trading cards. I can't believe that Upper Deck doesn't give any info on it and they make them. Oh well, I'll keep looking.

Yes I have one of the hologram ones which they fancily call "lenticular motion". I have two of doc ock (one throwing the taxi) and one crashing into the restaurant after Peter/MJ, plus a spider man swinging one. I also got one of the film cell cards. I've bought about 15 packs of 5 so far.

The ratios next to the cards

90 card regular set (5:1)
Amazing lenticular motion cards (1:4)
Reel Piece of the Action cards, with an authentic piece of film from the trailer (1:24)

I assume they mean stuff like for ever 4 packs of cards your odds are to get 1 lenticular motion card, which is about right I guess. I only have one Reel Piece with the film cells.

They aren't in the SM2 area where the action figures are. They are up front next to the registers where the sports trading cards are, at least in my Walmart they are.

Oh and I paid $1.99 at Wal-mart and about $2.39 at Blockbuster and gas station. On that website link you can buy them in cases I think.

Yeah. I love coming up with ******** remarks while wearing my Spidey gear. I have a tie I'll wear to work with Spidey on it, and this one... lesser being <j/k... maybe> asked if my Spider-sense was going off <trust me, I know the guy, this was meant as a shot at me> and it was in front of upper management and whatnot, and I just responded "No, but my slacker-sense goes just off the wall whenever you come close" Even the upper ups started laughing because it's so well known how much of his job this guy does. So, he turned beet red, and went on his lunch with 10 people still laughing at the joke. :P
