I think they are setting up the Lizard with doc conners being in the movie. And if you are a fan of the comic book you will know that Harry follows in his Dad's footsteps and become the Green Goblin.

No they wont, the venom and symbiot saga is HUGE in the comic, and I dont think they will, id rather have Lizard in the next movie, cause even though spidey and stuff is fictional, the venom symbiot stuff is a little too much cause its all aliens and stuff, which would be a too big of a leap for the storyline just yet, just keep it with the more traditional villians, like lizard, electro, doc ock and stuff.

i think venom. In sm2, they introduce John Jameson, who in the comics, brings back the alien symbiote. That sets up for venom perfectly. And also, if the sm movies do good, venom is probably going to get his own set of movies. :)

Venom should appear,because he is the ultimate villain ever and can never be defeated...soooo...oh yeah due to the videogame saga of spiderman and spiderman 2:enter electro I think venom will join the goodguys,but that is the later spiderman saga.

It won't be Hobgoblin, likely. Harry would want to live up to the legacy of his father. Hobgoblin was nothing but a small-time crook who stumbled upon Goblin caches.
