I was wondering about this because it seemed like some people don't read the comics. Can this be true?

I love both, the movies aren't exactly a completely different story, but they are two very different mediums and I think that is represented in wether people like both or either the comics and films, some people require moving visuals to get an image of the story and others don't need that back up and can use their imagination to gain a grip of the events that take place in the comic. I personally enjoy both and get different aspects of enjoyment from both.

I love comics and read them weekly.
I love the movie. But the movie is really just a comic in motion so to say you dont like comics is sort of stupid if you clam to be a Spider-man fan.~steve parker

Numerical as in 1, 2, 3...

some get to a second volume as in V2 with numerical again 1, 2, 3...

But recently they keep counts from original as 'Amazing' is at 508, when volume 2 started at 442. But 'Spectacular' is on Volume 2 at 15 which is 278 in actual succession.

Well I dunno what to say, but that I collect anything to do with spiderman of comics in general. Um, I have many old issues from when I was 5 yrs old, 14 years ago(19 now) and I have my very first comic of spiderman, it has to do with Typhode Mary, some weird one. I even have all 5 mark of kaines, that has to do with the Scarlet_spider and way many more comics, all mint to near mint condition all in plastic cases for comics. I also own every "SPIDER-MAN THE OFFICIAL MAGAZINE" yay. Oh and to mess with all of your heads, I HAVE ISSUE #200, GIANT SIZED FOILED. OH ya. I even held a copy of Spiderman #1, and sadly no not the amazing fantasy issue either.:D

I have about 300 comics. I started collecting after the first movie came out, thats when I became a fan.

I am a huge fan of the comics. The comics come every week, whereas the moivies come once every two years. I like both of them a ton, comics and movies.

About 50% of the extra money I have I use to buy comics, old and new.

A few of my best comics are - Ultimate Spider-man # 1 and 2, both original, I only need about 15 more to complete the set. I also have a few comics from the early 70's. I can't remember there titles. I also have the gold style Spider-man # 1 , twice.

About 200 of the 300 comics are Spider-man, the rest are x-men, Fan4, and others. It pays when you get to know a comic book store owner, he gives a few ggod deals every once in a while.

My friend from elementary school opened up a comic store, so I work there part time and get the equivalent of $25/hour in comics... not bad for just sitting there, really.
