What do you think about that? Do you think the writers of this movie should have taken that liberty?
Is is a minor detail that doesn't matter?
If it's a Genetically Mutated Spider, does that make Spider-Man a mutant?

a Radioactive spider is fine I guess and we could make the villian a giant claw monster! wooga booga!
This is the era of genetic engineering, it makes more sense for a mutant spider, not that either of them make a lot of sense. I ve tried exposing myself to radiation, gamma rays, you name it. All that happened was my body broke out in blisters and became one giant tumor. My super power is dripping lots of puss. you see my point? kids shouldn't be taught play with radio active stuff

again it should follow the comics.The comics is always right
