Spiderman. My favourite character is Hannibal King, but I acknowledge Spidey as the best character EVER! I mean, he´s just perfect. He´s smart, funny and has a perfect sense of justice. He´s neither a stone cold killer nor a boy scout. I see a lot of us comic fans in him.

Daredevil is the second for me. I like that Peter could not keep, his identity secret from him (heartbeat and voice gave him away). You can not put one over on the human lie detector.

I've always been a fan of Rogue, myself. I'd have to agree that Spider-Man is just about the best superhero there is.

I also think Spider-Man is the best developed, most entertaining, and the most pure fun to read character in comics. Even though Spidey's had his low times (Clone Saga, Byrne's reboot, etc.), Spidey always comes through in the end (as evidenced with this latest Ultimate triumph)

The only character that comes close for best development, greatest origin, sharpest look and pure fun, in my opinion, is Batman.

Wolverine is my favorite Marvel hero, but I have to admit Spider-Man may indeed be the best "character." Spider-Man has a pantheon of villains. He has a family. He has a surrounding environment we can relate to . . . rent, job, relationships. As much as one might wish we'd roam around SNIKT SNIKT with an adamantium-laced skeleton, hyper senses, and healing factor; truth is we can relate to Peter Parker best. He’s no Reed Richards, but he figures out how to make the most of his powers and makes the web shooters. He has to hide his powers from his family because who knows how they would react. He cannot just punch his annoying boss in the face, because he’d face the real world problems of losing his job, getting sued or getting arrested. Peter Parker is just a man whose circumstances are beyond his control, and he makes sense of this gift, this power, the best way he can - he becomes a hero. And he tries to be a hero everytime he puts on the costume. Which does get tattered and torn, which he does have to launder or sew or replace.

I couldnt agree anymore with that last girl! Spiderman/peter parker is the best character and the best hero! there is nothing realistic about some runt going around sliceing peoples throats with a metal that comes from his fist. but d*** it sure is kool!!!
