That reminds me of "The Haunted Mansion" movie. I thought FOR SURE that it would be the same caliber as PIRATES (and that movie friggin' ROCKS!) only to find out that they turned it into a stupid comedy.

Personally I think after the whole "I am your father" George Lucas just wimped out. LOL

Yeah, I'm worried about Fantastic 4.
Spiderman 3 in 2007 is good, because it gives the filmakers an extra year to make it. So it's not rushed and they can have a break.

Everyone needs to take a look at this link in the quote above. It's an interview with Sam and he talks about his feelings on doing SM4. I don't think Tobey or Kirsten would be dumb enough to say no to SM4. They have time inbetween SM movies to do other projects like "Bring It On Again" starring Kirsten Dunst & Tobey Maguire! LOL:D

I think a 4th movie is possible, but not likely. If there is a 4th though, it would have to have the same actors, and I think sony knows this. I wouldn't hold my breath, but it would be pretty sweet! Instead I think efforts should shift to bringing back the new animated series that MTV had on the air.

DareDevil sucked in most ways. Ben Afleck knows that, and that's why he isn't doing DD2. The way he gets the powers sucks big-time and is very cheasy. And what were they thinking about when they decided to make King Pin a black dude!!!? The way DareDevil jumps from roof top to roof top is cool enough. But then Elektra starts doing it too, and that's when I closed my eyes thinking "this is to far out". As far as I'm concerned, The DareDevil franchise is already dead, end of story.

X1/X2 are both pretty successful, especially the chemistry between Wolferine and Cyclops, are just hilarious!:D X2 is far better then the first, but the first is far from bad either. It's a good comic-book movie. I think it's safe to say that SPIDER-MAN and X-MEN are the top leading projects in the MARVEL universe.

The BLADE franchise is more for the adult audiences, not for small kids, like spidey is, as this series is actualy quite brutal and scary. This series has turned out really well, although the franchise ,funny enough, does way better in the video market then in theaters. Again, Blade1 suffered some places, especially at the end. Blade2 was far far better, and I actualy think Blade3 will top it all off quite well, when Blade will meet his father (in the ultimate showdown), who's no other then the deadliest of them all, DRACULA!!!

Now to a movie which will regain full respect for a superhero, who's last two movies put the world of superheroe's in total shame. BATMAN BEGINS will most definitly be a total shocker (although I thought that the tittle, BATMAN:YEAR ONE was more apropriate). I've seen parts of the script and it sounds incredibly awsome. It'll win as the most believable superhero movie EVER. I especially like what I know so far becuase of two small reasons. 1: eighty % of the movie sounds to be very realistick with a sense of adventure and fiction. 2: Bruce Wayne/BatMan will be played by Christian Bale!!! An actor who's as right for the role of BatMan, as Sean Connery's right for the role of James Bond. Bale has just the right amount of balance between dark and light as BatMan needs, and he'll ROCK hard-core as the dark knight. better then any of the others ever did (just my opinion).

But when it all comes down to it, I truely believe that the spidey franchise will be a success all the way, and that the third film will even top the second one. Look at it this way guys. S-M 1 was made because a beloved superhero spend over 40 years in the comic book world proving itself to be a total winner, if made cinematickly. And yes it came out great. In fact it became so popular and earned so much money that the studio decided to give full throttle on the second, giving us a 210 million dollar movie (also making S-M 2 the most expensive movie yet). If it wasn't for the success of the first, we wouldn't be reseving as expensive a second movie. Just try to emagine how HUUUUUGE the third will be:D Especially concidering how Huuge the second is alone. Ahh it's sweat music to my ears...We are looking at a comic-book adaption that are beeing braught to life in the best possible way, and the way it's going so far, it'll be mindblowing when they get to the third. Just emagine how much money the studio will have lined up for the prequel! Think about it. The third movie could easily have a budget of saaay, 270-280 million american dollars, no kidding! Plus the third will propobly have a running time of 2 hours and 40 minutes, maybe.

Then there is of course SUPERMAN! The man of steal will be back in 2005 or is it 2006?? Anyway, that'll be huuge! Although it'll never be the same without Christopher Reeve (but I'm sure he'll get a cameo). I hope it'll be a remake of the first from 1977. I wouldn't mind it, seeing how it is in fact almost 28 years ago. When the movie premiers it'll propobly be around 30 years.

On a final note, I would just like to say that the very first SUPERMAN MOVIE from 1977, is my favorite of them all, even spidey. I dont care how well made S-M 2 is, because it's not about that. The first SUPER-MAN movie is so beautiful, classic and really is A LOT bigger then any of the other superhero movies. It puts the rest of them to shame. Even today, 28 years later, that movie still works beautifully. It's so BIG and it has everything in it. It takes the time to tell the story just right. From the planet krypton, to young Clarks arrival on earth. Seeing the Kents taking him under their wings. Watching him grow up in high school. Seeing him leave his childhood and taking the jurny into the big city, where he becomes a news-reporter, starting his adult life. Then when all of this is in place, when everything is just right, without rushing anything, SuperMan makes his reveal to the world as he saves Lois Lane from a damaged Helicopter. This scene is a classic, and still today it blows me away. That movie takes the first price, and should ALWAYS be a shining example of the comic book/superheroes univers. That's a movie to be proud of! Today it still couldn't be done better. Only better made! But then again, when movies comes to the point where all that matters is the effects, it's just not worth it any longer.

I concur... definetly check out that link above.. read the interviews with Raimi and Avi Avad especially as he tells more about where SM will go.

If they do go to 9 - we can certainly expect to see Venom ... there's no way we wouldn't!

I thought DD was a refreshing take on a super-hero cause it was dark and more human then any other movie I've seen in that genre I heard Ben affleck said he didn't wanna do another daredevil, but he would consider doing it with director/writer kevin smith instead of that other dude, and I'm pretty sure we won't see an Iron-man for at least more then a year. Although I did hear about Tom Cruise expressing interest in playing tony starks, but anyway back to the spider talk......

Why 2007? Duhhh 19th birthday present to me. Actually i just found out from my sister who works for a company that rents equipment for spiderman 3 (unimportant stuff like walkie talkies and those clicky things with the ACTION! *click*) anyway, they just finished shooting all of thier B shots, which is like crowd reaction, quick cuts of people for scenes. Like shorter seens. Yeah so the editing is probably about to start now if it hasnt already.
