... man, I think you're in the wrong forum, my tasteless, nonsense-spewing friend... 'loser cast' and 'failing director'...? On what astute knowledge of the film industry do you base these prophetic statements on? Unless you are joking, you truly are a sad judge of entertainment, period...

As my user name shows, I am most certainly biased here, but I have been waiting for a Director to ask Danny to submit a new rock song for a movie soundtrack. If Danny doesn't have anything new to submit, I would suggest that Raimi ask Danny to re-record the song Vultures for the soundtrack. The song could be playing in Flash Thompson's new car as he pulls up to pick up Mary Jane. Come on Mr.Raimi, be the person who gets Danny to record some new rock material!

But, otherwise...I can't wait til May 2002. I've been waiting for this movie since I was a young lad!

Word had it that the Matthew Good Band (MGB) were going to be included on the soundtrack. The songs "****o Time Bomb" and "Load Me Up" would be perfect for this movie! I hope those rumors were true.

Guess what? You're all whacko!!! Danny Elfman is doing the music, but what I'd like to also see is that hidden track from the Ramones, as a tribute to Joey Ramone, now deceased. How do ya like them apples?

Ofcourse Elfman is doing the film score, but I was talking about pulling him out of retirement to perform a rock song (like when he was in a rock band) for the "Song-Styled" soundtrack that goes with every movie... BTW I'm not jumping down your throat about this, but I'm quite aware what Danny's role is in this picture....

Now you may think they have a looser cast but I know for a fact that each of these actors are nearing the prime of their careers. Now the two Leads (Dunst and Tobey) may not have been in many movies but the ones I have seen them in they have been able to keep up with the best of 'em. Tobey in the "Cider House Rules", wonderful movie kept me interested the entire time and with bad acting I would have lost interest. Tobey was also in a somewhat less recognized movie called "Ride With the Devil" in which he portrayed a man during the civil war. The movie took place in the only state that was dived, Missouri. It was about the fued between they Jayhawks (Union supporters) and the Confederate Supporters. And then their is Kirsten Dunst. Number 1 she is hot, Number 2 every movie I have seen her in Stupid or not she is the only thing that saved the movie. "Small Soliders", movie wasn't all that great but the small role she played in the movie gave it life, "Bring it On" lets just aside from seeing a lot of good looking chicks in skimpy outfits she was the best part about that movie being on of the only people in the flim that could really act. And then there is the movie "****" a big spoof on the Watergate Scandle. She played a big ditz but in actuality I beleived that she was a ditz when in actuality I know she is smarter than what she was showing in the movie. And as far as the Director I haven't seen any Sam Raimi films but has a **** good reputation.

Ok, first off the Prince bashing should, no has to stop. How can you people be so closed minded and like Spider-Man, especially to the person who called Prince a word that I will not repeat. Prince has helped shape the musical world we live in today, in fact I think if you ask Spider One from Powerman 5000, he would proably state Prince as an influence. If it wasn't for what Prince was doing in the eighties with programming synths and drum machines Powerman wouldn't even be doing what they are doing now. Shame on you for being so closed mined especially about music. I am a fan of Powerman and Prince and many others. I am very excited to see Danny Elfman working on this soundtrack. There couldn't be a Raimi or Burton film with out him. I am just so disappointed with the statements I've read here that I am gonna end this now before I say something that might offend my fellow friends that are here to enjoy information on Spider-Man and the process. Think Before You Speak people, you never know who may be listening.
