I keep reading about Peter& MJ but the question is will the film feature Gwen stacey and if so who is playing her?

I don't think Ms. Stacey will be making an appearance in the movie, even as a cameo. One love interest is enough, and you can't put Gwen in without making light of the fact that Peter and her are supposed have something. Me, I thought Gwen would have been a better choice. You already have the Green Goblin in the story, so it would work. Maybe a little to dramatically and dark/depressing, but hey, that's what brings seriousness.

cuz of green goblin killed her plus that isPeter Parker first girlfriend is gwen not mary jane.. what gives ? sheesh..
I hope the directors are not twisting and/or changing the storyline..

if you read the comic book mj was spidey first girl then they had problems..peter went with gwen mj went with harry for a short time to make pete jealous..but pete was not paying her no mind because he was in love with gwen..the n enter the green gobbie he killed her spidey was pissed and i hope you know the story from then on because i lik to keep thing short and sweet..but dont worry she will be in the story and in the movie..

Gwen Stacy would be a nice and creative plot twist, since the Green Goblin did kill her...but the fact remains that Raimi doesn't want this to get all "Dawson's Creek"-ey. You don't need Gwen in the movie, but you do need Mary Jane, without her you would just have thousands of emails describing how she needs to be in the movie.
I'm pretty sure that Gwen isn't in the movie, but I hope not, that's a cameo I do not need.

Hey Kaiken you right.. about gwen.. Also I agree with
spider2017 true it a twist plot to involve gwen related
to green goblin but I still strongly feel that gwen should
be in the plot along with MJ to make it a blockbuster movie
along with more relastic story about spidy/peter
guess what Looks like we have no power or choice
its already in the making.. *&%^&(&*%^$%

oh well thats life of making movies.. changing ideas changing plots changing characters.. etc..

but no matter what I still cant wait to see the movie but sadly without gwen.. cuz in a way I was looki forward

As one big fan from the old school, I remember Spidey having Gwen Stacy as his first love and being killed by Norman Osborn alias GREEN GOBLIN. Why isn't she mentioned in the movie? For all the old schooler's asking the same queation, WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with most web-slingers fans out there - there can not be a Green Goblin without the existance of Gwen Stacy. Two of the most valuable issues of any Spider-Man title (Especially Peter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Man) are on this subject.

How relevant would the Joker in Batman have been without including the story of how he killed the parents of Bruce Wayne? Without the Gwen Stacy link, the Green Goblin has much less appeal, and ranks right in the crowd with Mysterio, the Rhino, and Dr. Oc. The whole reason the Green Goblin IS the arch enemy is because the Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Norman Orbson connection.

This will get a thumbs down from me if they screw this up. As for all those who say it does not matter they are not true believers

Man, if they had Gwen Stacy in there they could rack up some major drama and tension points at the Bridge!

I guess it's too late now to get the Sony to add Gwen but it is a shame if she's not in there. All true believers are hoping that there will be a sequel and it really is the story of Spider-Man to have Gwen. But if there is just one movie they could get by without her.
