Sam & team,
The worst thing about a comic book movie is when they are:
1. too short
2. not enough character background development
3. no EASILY IDENTIFIED THEME SONG
Superman, Star Wars, Jaws, Batman all had identifiable Theme Songs. X-Men did not, and that took away from the film.
Superman developed the character and life of Clark Kent/Superman BEFORE WE EVER SAW HIM IN THE SUIT. That was classic.
Batman showed the suit immediately, but did a good job of developing the origin of Jack Napier/The Joker and showing Bruce Wayne's life through flash backs.
X-Men and Jurassic Park III were both TOO SHORT! By the time you got into the movie and wanted it to build-up to a great ending... they were rollling the credits.
Does anyone else feel me on this one?
