I am so impressed by you!!! I mean Evil Dead and Bruce Campbell are your biggest CULT followings of course, but I really liked The Quick and the Dead...I loved the camera angles and such, and the uniqueness of Redemption...but this new movie~ Spiderman~ has already blown me away!!! I have had to see all of the interviews with the head costume designer, who is a class act man by the way, and the prop designer...who is a really neat character himself, almost better than Bob Villa! but the Press Conference really really impressed me the most....you all spoke very eloquantly, and Sam! wow. you are such a wonderful public speaker! because you are smart and funny....you spoke with grace and I cannot give you enough support on this project!!! I have my first day showing tickets already and my screensaver, and my action figures, and well, kisses to all of the Spiderman crew!!! congratulations!!!

To prove myself to this board as well to Mr.Sam Raimi, I must reveal that I worked at comic books store in Atlanta, as well, called Classic Comics...which was of course run mainly by boys....or guys....no girls. Girls never get jobs at real comic book stores, but because of choice posessions and knowledge of comic books and action figures I was actually hired and accepted....so I am an honorary "fanboy" or more like, "fangirl"....and proud of it!!! I love Comic Conventions as well....and I could tell you all stories!!! I loved Spiderman, and yes, my goal is to also own a Spiderman #1 someday, I knew a couple guys who have had one, and I shall one day, mark my words!!! I wish sometimes I could still be at that little shop bragging about Spiderman, first day passes, and being a part of this website, but I am growing up, and my own artwork now gets the attention...but I am still true to my favourites! and Spiderman is definitely one of my absolute favourites!!!

here is my two cents, but I had to tell you, while reading Spiderman back in the comic book store days, I really really loved the black costume with giant white spider emblem on it!! In the sequel, it would be so cool to see that costume maybe for a specific purpose unique only to the film? second showing for me was this evening and this time it was AMAZING!!! of course! but one thing I had to point out to Mr.Sam Raimi was the absolute brilliance of when the green goblin starts throwing mulitiple pumpkin bombs at Spider-Man...and spiderman just leaps into the air and misses them all completely! That was sheer movie making magic!!! bravo! bravo!

my goal is still ten times, so I am cetainly not finished....I like to savour the experience if it is a really, really good movie!!! one thing I had to tell Sam Raimi was how exceptional the parade scene is in this movie....I mean the hot air balloons were not only a neat visual device, but Spiderman continues to bounce up and down on one while fighting the Green Goblin~ that was truly exceptional cinemotography....there are so many extradordinary camera tricks and devices I always find new ones to appreciate in each viewing....figuring it all out, is much like a riddle! well done! applause, applause, applause....

well I have this need to see really cool movies on the day they are released, and then many many times after that, if it is a really great film! I saw Queen of the ****ed on the first day showing this year and I saw Spider-Man on the first day showing! and a little secret....I am currently getting first day passes to Star Wars:Episode 2 as we speak! let's just say...I have my ways....and it includes wearing a Spider Girl costume to Spider-Man and making friends with the theatre manager...he approached me!!! I have an independent publishing company and recording company in the spirit of the beatniks, as in, I wanna retain my rights to my work, and am seeking continued publication after my death...
I have been scouted by major labels, but my true ambition is to not only to "sell a bunch o'books" but to continue to be published regularly, even after my death...and well, maybe be something that hopefully will not be "dropped from the label" once the sales are in decline....so there I. You are good at getting into people's business...lol....but I don't care.
One thing I will share that is other-worldly "magic" to me about Spider-Man is my first spoken word recording on my indie recording label is called "Girl Next Door"....and well, that be Mary Jane! crazy cool coincidence....

Just wanted to share this with my "director" post....I got a small ceramic "pumpkin" today as a gift, and it is the size of the actual pumpking bomb used in the movie!!! I love it! With this pumpkin, there is a hole at the top to add things to it, to put inside....maybe some explosives? JUST KIDDING...
I know nothing about explosives except for 4th of July Fireworks! lol...
